No air conditioning in area we were seated. Didnât have fans on. Decor needs to be updated.
Great restaurant in an old Mimiâs restaurant. These owners are really smart business people. The outside and the inside look like Mimiâs. They spent money wisely and added a lot of Italian pictures on the walls and great Italian music. I hope someday they take out the old Mimiâs booths and use only round tables. Checked table cloths would be a nice touch. The food is outstanding great value. The wine good selection though a little pricey. Service is really great. Support this restaurant they deserve your patronage. I hope this restaurant thrives. Additionally there is a wine and cheese bar with live music. Great place for family gathers and celebrations. .
We picked this place out of the blue after we attended a softball event for the day. Place looked closed but it was open. We were seated pretty quick and the place had about 5 tables of guests in the whole place. There were 3 people in the bar area eating. We Ordered an appetizer that came within minutes then the WAIT began. We waited about 30-40 minutes for our meals with the server Stopping by to apologize regularly. When the food arrived it was great. My calzone was so light and flakey and stuff with meat and cheese. Daughters angel hair pasta and meatballs were good. Wifeâs meal Was also very good. Wife ordered a bread pudding and daughter went with the affogoto and loved it. I would lay the fault on the kitchen for the delays and I appreciate the server coming by to let us know âfood was coming.â Iâd Like to return, but canât show up hungry because the wait may unpredictable.
Great selection on their menu & food was delicious. Service was outstanding, everyone so thoughtful & helpful. Definitely a favorite place for dinner or special occasions.
Who knew? A jazz ensemble happy hour in Escondido??? Very nice. Food and wine and cocktails to match. Wait staff very good. We enjoyed our Friday night ... will be back.
Had dinner there last night (Friday) no wait time at all. There were four of us and we each ordered different items. The pasta dishes (Rigatoni. Chicken Alfredo, and Spaghetti all lacked sauce making them very dry. The meatball sandwich was overly salty. Also one would think a salad or soup would be offered with a dinner entree but that is extra. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
We went there for my mother-in-lawâs birthday. The food and the service were both excellent!
Fatherâs Day celebration. Although my reservation was confirmed with both an email and a text, they couldnât find it. Fortunately, they were still able to accommodate our party of eight.
Great! This is a hidden gem for good food and quiet dining.
Food was mediocre and overpriced. Will probably not return.
