Delicious food. We had the chile rellenos and the enchiladas suizas. Plenty of a la carte options and combinations. They have a full bar! Friendly, attentive servers. They have Sunday Brunch too!
We had our sports banquet there where we were served chicken beef and shrimp street tacos along with refried beans which were the best I've ever had in Mexican rice with all the trimmings. For dessert we had fresh churros with cream on the inside sweet and delicious.
This restaurant has been a local staple in Escondido for consistently good food for decades. The staff are friendly, attentive & efficient. Food is served expediently with generous portions that are not only pretty to look at, but quite tasty, too. The food is affordable, the environment is casual & very family friendly.
Really wonderful atmosphere. Delicious food, attentive staff and conviently located in beautiful west Escondido. Many tasty menu items and great cocktail choices. A must for locals and tourists.
The food and service were good. The hostesses were a little snotty. It won't stop us from coming back however. Been eating at Cocina Del Charro for decades.
First time going here and honestly the food was ok nothing special and the service was okay I really expected much because it's such a nice restaurant but I wasn't really impressed.
Sunday Brunch was very good. Served buffet style. Great variety of food. All looked great. The food I experienced had excellent taste, served fresh and hot. Highly recommend!
