Amazingly friendly staff!!! The food is so good!! I highly recommend this place. The lighting inside is dark so be prepared if you have a head time seeing in low lighting.Again you must try and let me know what you think of this wonderful place.
Always a favorite for us. Ordered early bird dinner, but they gave us regular entrees instead. :(The issue was a dinner watching some kind of crime documentary full volume on his phone!!! Quiet restaurant, dirty looks from all the diners....no change. Management should have done something. :(
Had dinner here prior to seeing a performance at the Center for the Arts. Probably the worst chinese food I've ever had. I do not agree with the reviews that this place is good. Every dish was tasteless, overcooked and old oil used. The deep fried shrimp had a very strange taste, we couldn't eat it. And it was a $20+ dish! The house fried rice was gooey/mushy and absolutely no texture. The ingredients used in every dish were NOT fresh. The beef in the beef w/broccoli was thick, chewy and seemed to have been marinated for days, if not weeks. Soo much gravy in the dish, but tasteless. Even the side of white rice seemed old. Dirty carpets and bathroom was not clean. In fact, entire place didn't smell clean. This place is not gourmet by any stretch of the imagination. Very disappointed.

You'll have trouble deciding what to order because every menu item is gourmet. The ingredients are top quality and time is truest test. I remember eating at the Vista location 31 years ago when I first met my husband and the quality has not declined! Please please support local business by eating at Chin's you Will return!They have a card for you to earn free chef gourmet entrée or lunch! Really great place! The clientele says it all! The people that own and operate this nice restaurant are very polite and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxing. The food is excellent and presented nicely. They also have a place in Poway on Pomerado Road. I highly recommend both places! Good food, nice people and a relaxing oasis.
I love the family that owns the restaurant. Best cooked fish in I've ever had! Very authentic and nicely located as well. And affordable.
We ordered carry out for the family. Thought the Mongolian beef was very very good. Family ordered a couple other chicken dishes, they thought was pretty good as well. Egg drop soup as well, went over well. Ask for the Chin rewards card, and earn yourself a free meal down the line.
Chin's Gourmet Chinese restaurant is the most delicious food. The service is excellent. The staff are all lovely and thoughtful. I went around 3pm and no one was there until around 5:30 then it get very busy.
Comfortable, attractive decor. Every bite was delicious, each dish uniquely flavored. This was the best Chinese food I have ever had the joy of eating.
I gave this place 4 stars for service effort. They had signs on every table asking for patience as they had staff shortages due to the pandemic. They appeared to be operating on a 3 man staff with 6 tables to serve (2 very large groups). The food was good, prices reasonable.
