I ordered the buffalo chicken fries.Loved them.The cashier was polite as well.If your craving buffalo chicken fries go here instead of those other places that don't do it quite as right :)
We had Chicken Lisa’s provide some amazing catered Mexican food for my wife’s birthday at the Welk Resort! Everything we ordered was delicious. We enjoyed Chile Rellanos, Enchiladas & Rolled Tacos all made fresh with salsas guacamole and rice & beans. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has warm hospitable decor. They did an excellent job and I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant.
This was my second time trying this place, the first time got a chicken burritoIt wasn’t the best I had but neither the worse. This time around got the surf and turf, got it to go. When I unpack it , it spread open ; it had 4 small shrimp a small amount of Carne asada , pico de gallo and like a pound of cabbage.For 12 dollars and change, I expected way more. This is not “Mexican Food” is more Tex-Mex .Too expensive and not the best place for Mexican food.
Never will I go to this place again. Bought two dinners they hand you four small plastic containers of salsa, which in my eating Mexican experience in the past isn’t very much to add the a dinner or just for chips. How about you? So at the open salsa bar I added four more of there scoops which one will fill that small plastic container to my dinner! Then I was told that was to much salsa taken from the open salsa bar and they needed $5 more dollars! What an open salsa bar NO sign and they needed $5 more dollars. No other open salsa bar in town has ever regulated its use! Never again Chicken Lisa buyer beware.
2nf time there and love the food. Beer and wine license only, their agave wine margaritas are good. You can order at the bar. Come visit this local gem. Carmen approved.
Food is delicious and I’ve been back several times. I highly recommend their carne asada fries. Sadly, I came last night around 8:15pm hoping to order some and they were closed ☹️ Hours said open until 9pm so maybe that needs to be updated?
Food is alright, and the service is horrible. The cashier (woman) was rude and was very distracted while taking our order, which caused me to question whether she even got it correctly. Luckily there’s a front facing monitor on the register. I love supporting small businesses, but I don’t think I’ll come here again.

Cute location tucked away in the Country Club area of Escondido. Not a lot of parking available in the front or back. The food was fresh. Service was adequate. The food did lack flavor and spices but was reasonably priced. The bar area was packed with locals. Nice neighborhood spot
