Waited in the drive through line 5 minutes after ordering 5 drinks. They told us to pull forward and we waited another 15 min in a parking place before our drinks were ready. NO customer service at all. The staff needs to be retrained ✌?
Kara is fantastic!!!! She’s such a sweet heart! I didn’t know what I wanted and she was so patient and gave great recommendations! She’s got amazing energy and it made my morning. Will definitely be coming back!
This is the best coffee I’ve ever had! Every time I come here I’m blown away by the quality. I’ve had their iced coffee, hot coffee, different specialty drinks, and I can say without a doubt Better Buzz blows every other coffee drive thru straight out the water. My favorite drink they offer is the chai latte. All of the employees at this location are super sweet and our dog Molly goes crazy for their pup cups. Thanks Better Buzz we love you!
I lived in Escondido for three years without ever having heard of Better Buzz coffee, and what a shame that was. While visiting down there again for my alma mater’s university day, I was searching around for new coffee shops I hadn’t been to and ended up here. There is a drink on the menu called the “Best Drink Ever” so, naturally, I had to try it. I was told it’s an Americano with vanilla bean powder. That’s it? That’s the best drink ever? It was a chilly day, so I got it hot, and from the first sip I was blown away. I don’t know if this was objectively the “best” drink ever, but it’s certainly up there. With the constant, massive drive-thru line, I’m sure I’m late to the game telling you to visit Better Buzz, but I would be remiss in not recommending this pleasant little shop with a charming atmosphere and great coffee.
It’s happened twice. One would think to order online when you’re in a rush, because you expect to get your things faster. Well not here. The 2 times I’ve gone in 15 mins after I ordered which on the app says it’ll be ready in 8, I’ve waited 15 mins extra or more. They have poor customer service. Poor online order and drive thru wait times are crazy. Not even Starbucks does this, and they get busy too. Better buzz you need better service.
Minus one star because their matcha is a bit watered down and the one in mission Valley is WAYYYY better matcha wise. However. Their sandwich? AMAZING. The flavors just explode in your mouth and its pretty big so youre getting your moneys worth and not paying alot for one of those small sandwiches like Starbucks. Sandwich was a 10/10, matxha was a 6.5/10
Always busy and chaotic. Drive thru line congests plaza. The coffee and food is great but the experience is heavily impacted due to wait times and a chaotic atmosphere.Responding to a reply by the business:Online ordering is part of the problem, the staff cannot keep up with in-person, drive thru, and online demand. I would suggest increasing wages, and staffing. The team works really hard and is overworked but clearly needs more resourcing. When I have ordered online there was a backlog and drinks arrived after the expected time and there were others waiting and confusion about whose drink is whose.

I ordered the best drink ever with out ice so I could drink it the next day with out the watered down flavor and to my surprise I received half a cup of coffee. I asked where the rest of the coffee was and they said it should be ice and there was no way for them to charge me double to fill up the cup. I feel that if I pay for a large cup of coffee whether it has ice or not I should get a full cup of coffee. I don’t see why I should pay for Ice as well. I did not choose to argue so we drove off. I find it to be absurd that they think it’s okay to give me half a cup of coffee and charge for a full cup. To make martes worse the cup of ice I requested melted on my way home and the ice that melted was white and looked disgusting. I will be returning to Starbucks.
The staff honestly doesn’t care. I told 3 different associates the order was missing a drink despite waiting 45 mins. None of them cared and didn’t want to make it. I’ve never had such horrible customer service. Don’t go on a Sunday unless you have an hour to spare to wait on your food if they even accurately make it right.
