Disappointing sushi. Probably the worst I’ve ever had. Very short-staffed, I felt sorry watching one waitress run back and forth. It took her almost ten minutes to bring us one check, and the place wasn’t even very busy at the time. No air conditioning, tight tables.
Excellent food and service. Don’t get fool for the exterior appearance. Place is very clean and the price very reasonable
For really fresh sushi and service attention, you won’t find a better sushi restaurant. They have been in the same spot forever and that is one reason to go there. They work extremely hard, even when short-staffed, to make sure that you are their number one priority. No tricks for taste, just fresh delicious fish.
Yakisoba portion was very small and sauce too sweet and barely any chicken California.rolls just fell apart .too much money for below average quality

One of my favorite places in Escondido. Great food and atmosphere and the warmest of staffs.
The Dynamite Roll was to die for! Our 2nd fav is the Classic Crunchy, Protein Roll and Salmon Sashimi and of Course Miso and Edamame along with a cold Asahi. Pretty satisfied with service and the atmosphere.
