Food was ok, I remember it was way better before! We got two different dishes but both looked the same. Tge Lomo Saltado had fries at the bottom which were all dipped in sauce and smooshy! Waited for our drinks a long time. Although the place was almost empty it was hard to grab the staff attention.
Always great food and amazing sangria. The tostones we're huge. The sangria was potent. The arroz con pollo delicious. No complaints. Perfect anniversary dinner.
Ohmmgeee must try❣️The appetizers were all delicious! ? We didn't wait long to receive our plates and it was extremely satisfying. My Salmon was seasoned well and mixed perfectly with the white rice. The platains were a great sweet addition to my plate. I will definitely be going back!?
We’ve been coming to Versailles (this location and the LA one) for ages, since moving out of LA proper I haven’t been back for some time.Chance brought me back into the valley and I had to stop by for a taste down memory lane. The food is just as delicious as I remember and the service is just as amazing. My mom is having some mobility issues as of late and the staff were very helpful in getting us seated and making sure she was comfortable.I always have a hard time deciding what to choose whenever I’m near Cuban cuisine (because I love it all but unfortunately can’t finish it all). This time we ordered:Yuca frita (appetizer)Bistek empanizadoVaca fritaEverything tasted just as I remember, but also even better because it’s been so long. All in all, I consider this visit a success.
I've never had a bad meal here. The garlic chicken is what they're known for but everything I've had has been great. And be careful with the basket of bread. So good, it's very easy to fill up on before dinner.
Love this old-school establishment Cuban restaurant. I jones for the pork the amazing chicken, the rice and beans and onions everything is perfect. So for a taste of authentic Cuba in America go now!
Food and service was excellent very attentive and efficient. Super yummy, yucca fries, shouldn't have but did, their famous garlic chicken perfectly crisp skin and the sour sop milk shake definitely worth the price.
The food was fantastic I really enjoyed my arroz con pollo and my daughter had the chicken steak
The acoustics of this restaurant and lack of organized service are the downfall as well the crowded and limited parking in an already over congested area. The design of the high ceiling in the main dining area amplifies the voices of the persons seated next to your table. Worse making it harder to hear everyone thus everyone naturally raises their volume and you have a overly loud, uncomfortable room. With 3 LA county locations Versailles is our favorite Cuban restaurant. You can't go wrong with the garlic chicken and rice. Fix the ceiling and it's a 5 star spot
I had the half chicken with a friend here this week, and I realized that I've been eating here for about 30 years. Even at lunch, skip the deal and get the half roasted chicken. It comes with plantains so you don't have to pay extra and it's amazing. They also have very good shakes and a nice cuban coffee after your meal.
