Ordered 2 NY steak and shrimp dinner combos to go, the steaks where disappointing for the usual quality I receive from this Norms. One steak had grizzle running right through the middle of the steak from end to end and the other steak was almost half fat. I'm beginning to really be tired of all these places that offer to go orders preparing, giving, low quality foods to it's customers. If I where in the restaurant I would have sent the steaks back that's how terrible they where. The only thing you are doing is making sure I do not eat at your establishment again and telling all my friends how terrible it was. Why would you shoot your business in the foot, to make a quick buck now, and nothing more ever? I watched one of the employees that work there take home what looked like a heavy bag of food, probably the good cuts of meat, and if that wasn't enough he had two trays more come out to him. Why do I think he took it home, well he loaded it into the same car his ride that came and picked him up, when the other two orders that he picked up from the back door came, he got in the car and they drove off. Is that where my steak that I paid good money for went? We will never know, but know this I will not be eating there again. Thank you for the terrible meal that I paid for, while employees get free meals.
The personnel here are still doing great for me! They constantly pick up used dishes off my table and check on me and my party. They need to wipe down seats better but place is clean.I had the $2.22 breakfast special [today only and can be ordered to go] (normally $7.99) and it was yummy. In my humble opinion... the best tasting pancakes! I loved my breakfast. Everything was cooked perfectly, delicious, and at a resonable price. Customer service and cleanliness was great too. The only thing I'd recommend to the company, is an upgrade on the coffee. Not sure if it was the quality of the coffee grounds, or if it was watered down a bit making it not taste as good, but a good rich tasting coffee goes a long way. I'd give the coffee 3 out of 5 stars. Other than that... it all was great!! We'll be back.
I really like eating at Norms restaurants......I was so happy they were opening one in my neighborhood....took my kids there I told them how much they will enjoy the food and boy was I wrong.....first we had to wait 20 minutes to have the hosts sit us down (not because of covid) she was putting orders for pickup so she was busy and then the food was the WORST I have ever had......I had their "signature dish" the T-bone steak my daughter had the New York with eggs, hash-brown and pancakes steak we asked for it to be made medium.....it was more than "well done" it was so dry the server said that the cook said it was medium the hash-brown was burned as well the "potato soup" was so thick we was more Mashed Potatoes then a soup we ate it with a fork the pancakes were given us to go because they forgot to bring them to us although we asked them the pancakes a few times..... all the food was so blend it was disappointing......I am sorry but I will never go back to this location ??
They for proof of vheck vaccination at the door, which good. Tables are spaced out. Food was serve hot and delicious, and the wait staff was quick and courteous. Plenty of convenient parking next to the restaurant.
Our server Natasha was great. However the food was not so great my fries were stale and my chicken sandwich felt like it was a little cold as well. My mom ordered well done for her steak it was not well done it was bloody. It was not my best meal that's for sure. The service was great to bad the food didn't match the service. It was new year's day so granted the cooks might have not wanted to be there but just sucks I had to eat food that was cold and stale.
Anyone ever see a T-bone missing the good side? ???? What do you expect for 15.99 right? I'd give 4 stars if my steak wasn't missing the good side. Don't order the T-bone cause you will get an L-bone steak instead. ?
So happy that I got to eat at the New Norms Restaurant in Encino/Sherman Okas CA, our server he was super excellent on taking care of all our orders. Will back again soon.
I enjoy the whitefish dinner because it has a lot of food. Well priced. Sometimes takes a long time at dine-in so I usually get it to go. Coupons are great!
We were so excited about Norm's coming to the Valley, waiting through the pandemic, and finally finding it open and serving! But...after being there twice for breakfast, we're thinking twice before going back. Yes, the menu is vast and the prices are good. But, I'm not sure they're quite ready for people yet. The first time we went, my husband's order came 30 minutes before mine. The second time we went, our fried eggs were cold (ice box cold) and the order wasn't correct. I'm not sure what the problem is but cold food that supposed to be hot is a downer. I mentioned it to the waiter who was kind enough to order two new sets of eggs...which never came. Disappointing...
