Having eaten
They did not answer the phone when we tried to get a reservation for 2. So, went on open table and got a reso about 15 min before our time. Great! But, then we got there and asked to sit on the patio (only one table was seated there) He said no, canât. I asked if they were all reserved, for the same time? He just said no I canât put you outside. Inside is a little tight, but soft lighting and pleasant interior..so ok. Female server was very sweet and helpful. Baby gem Cesar was delicious, but pastas very averageð Prices are high and donât reflect the quality of the food..should be a few dollars less for each pasta dish. $19for spaghetti pomodoro? It was heavy in sauce. $20 for cacio e Pepe? It was not flavorful and we had to add salt and more pepper. Overall, it was ok, not greatâ¦but had a nice dining experience. I think food needs to taste really good to ask prices like that. Hard to find quality pasta in the west valleyâ¦wish we drove out to Uovo in Studio City!!! Thatâs amazing pasta!!
We have been eating at Mora since it opened...we live in the neighborhood. We stopped going for a while because the food just wasn't as good after they reopened from the pandemic. We decided to give it another shot last night when we saw new items on the menu. Their was so much chili pepper on the broccoli and potatoes that came with the pollo milanese that it was inedible and ruined the taste of the meal for me. The ragu bolognese barely had any ragu...it was a lot of tomato sauce. Very disappointing and we've decided this was the last time we'll be dining at Mora.
Food was very delicious and the service was good
The wait staff could not have been nicer or more gracious. My pasta was too salty and they were nice to replace. Unfortunately the redo was just as salty. They did not charge us and offered to get me another entree.
Not as good as
So sad and disappointed there was a chef change and the food was not up to par at all and the service wasnât great . We used to love this place but most likely wonât come back. They were very apologetic and comped some of the meal but still wasnât up to par.
Mora Italiano has been one of my husband and my "go to" restaurants since the pandemic due to it's nice outdoor patio. However we have not been as happy there since it has changed ownership. Although the servers are very nice and friendly the wait time to get your meal can be very long. But the worst part for me is that they changed the menu due to a new chef. The menu has many of the same items but they eliminated the two items that made me like to dine at Mora in the first place. The artichoke salad (it had a different name) was fabulous and so was the Beyond Ragu. Being vegan it is often hard to dine at non-vegan restaurants so I was always pleased that Mora had choices for me. I still was able to find something that was good but not as good as what I was looking forward to.
Delightful!
Made a reservation for fathers day dinner here due to good reviews but we were disappointed with the service?Food is good but It took 45mins to get served and the bread is cold ? they prioritize the pickup orders but not the guests who dined in This is my first and last to dine here..servers are nice ?
