Fat Jerry / thin sliced ribeye steak, grilled onion, melted American, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, crisp bacon, fried egg, fries, mayo, ketchup, salt & pepper on a hero - 5 ?!Yes. All of that is on one sandwich and it is glorious. I have been a fan of Fat Sal's since they first opened in Encino. I live close to their Hollywood location but was out near their og location and felt a craving.I visit a few times a year and once even day dreamed about opening a franchise when I loved really far from a Fat Sal's. They have amazing burgers and smothered fries but I tend to grab their loaded heroes.They often have great limited time sandwiches and shakes which are worth checking out. Also, this is a Halloween tradition for me since they love to do an entire costume theme for their Hollywood location including a fully themed menu.My advice is to go in person and scarf it down as soon as they hand it to you. Freshly made is the way to go.
I really appreciate Fat Sal's...Here's why: They package your order beautifully. Neat and Tidy. Everything is fresh. The Tuna Fish is perfect. No "fishy" after taste. The Turkey Club with Russian dressing was the BEST! The seasoned fries were a nice change from plain ones. Though its nice that we have options. A scrumptious lunch for sure.
First time here and I gotta say I love how the place looks, very modern urban. The design and everything in it. Love how the menu wall is clearly visible and big enough to read and as well as the merchandise wall.Had the Grilled Chicken Caesar wrap - so good! And I had the Mozzarella fries with gravy and I had to say im not a fan of it. Gravy was a little bland for me. Had to ask salt and pepper to add a little flavor. I have yet to try the rest of the sandwiches

First time here. Ordered the Fat Jerry and the sandwich hardly had any meat. The Philly cheese steak fries were flavorless and the cheese was not even melted.Also tried the Pizza Burger and Patrami Western Burger and the meat was overcooked for all the burgers. Definitely not coming here again.
If I didn’t love the food here I would never come back. Carlos treated my girlfriend and I with an extremely rude and snappy attitude. I will think twice before visiting fat Sal’s again because of Carlos’ poor service.
Trendy location. Drove by looking for something different to eat and this place called my group and I from a distance with how much it stands out. The food was so delicious. Such a different variety. Burgers, sandwiches, shakes, and more. The burger was so delicious and the shake was amazing. I highly recommend and can't wait to eat there again!
Such deliciousness should be shouted from the rooftop! My friend and I shared a Tuna Sandwich on a baguette. Fresh and filling! Check the menu because it was hard to make a choice. But the sandwiches are big, hearty and scrumptious. Can't wait to go back to try something different.P.S. We were so hungry I forgot to take a pic!
"Hey! We're making sandwiches over here!" I saw that slogan on the side of the Hollywood location and knew that I had to try it out. I was elated when I saw the signs going up for this location. So if you haven't been, stop being so mean to yourself. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. And yeah, they're making sandwiches over here!
