Almost perfect pizza but...I had high expectations of this place when I walked in as the smell was amazing, the decor was cool, the staff very friendly and a good selection of drinks. We ordered a large build your own pizza and the ingredients as you can see on the photos are very good quality. I like to pick my own toppings to avoid anything horrible.Starter wings took 45 mins to arrive, which was my initial bad experience, considering the place wasn't busy. Thankfully we had drinks to get us through the wait. Then the amazing looking pizza arrived while I'm still eating the wings, but what you gonna do.I ate my first slice of this very impressive looking Pizza, cooked to perfection but knew immediately something tasted vile. I had chosen the toppings so was distraught to find out these delicious toppings were covered in 'table shaker parmesan'! I find parmesan repulsive and hideous to taste. Why would you cover your work of art with cheap rubbish like that. Extremely disappointing and considering the abnormal wait time. You have an almost perfect pizza - why destroy it???
Great pizza nice charred crust. Unfortunately ordered twice through doordash and both times got the wrong with ingredients we have allergies too. Door dash wouldn't resolve it and neither did URBN
The biggest pizza we’ve ever had… delicious too! I appreciated that it was customizable in every way. So many toppings! It was cold when we got it, and we were at a hotel with no where to heat it up (hence 4 stars).. but I’d absolutely go back. It was fun inside and they were friendly!
Incredible pizza, the dough is super thin, soft and pliable - close to what you would get in Italy. Toppings are great too, we had the ricotta and polpette pizza, we could taste all the ingredients distinctly and loved every single one of them (tomato sauce is particularly on point). We also tried the chopped Italian salad and liked it equally, quality ingredients and balanced flavours. This is our must-go place for pizza and salads in Encinitas.
this is just one of those trendy pizza restaurants that have extremely thin crust and seems to be pretty pricey for what you’re getting. The quality is definitely there and the staff is very good but I can’t justify spending $30 on a paper thin pizza. I can personally eat the entire pizza in one sitting just because of how thin it is.
I live in East Coast. Came twice to Encinitas while driving from.LA to SD and both times had pizza here. Best pizza I ever had both times.
We ordered pick up and the pizza was burned, inedible. Dear chef, if the pizza is burned, toss ot away and make a new one. People can wait but cannot eat burned pie.
Completely empty when we arrived at around 8pm on a Sunday night. Ordered a small pizza that was perfect for two and ordered another small to go. The server was very sweet. Food was very good... Hit the spot. I just wish I had brought a warmer coat (ate inside, but everything was open).
Tasty and cheap lunch special
I tried eating here Friday night. Standing at the entrance and the female serving outside walks by twice without acknowledging, so i ask her if I can eat there. Her response was not friendly and had an attitude. I left, there are other places to enjoy going out and not bother the staff with your business
