Good food and service. It used to be awesome before COVID but it's still very good and worth a try!
Disappointing main dishes, atmosphere, and restrooms! Sea Bass linguine, and Shrimp Mediterranean both tasteless!! Small glass of wine for $15. Cesar and house salads were good. Server never refilled our water glasses and it was not crowded. Bathrooms outside and dirty. We will not return!!
Very friendly staff! Delicious food!!
It was the first real Italian restaurant that I have ever been to in San Diego County! The food was delicious and authentic and the atmosphere was lovely. I highly recommend it to those of you who want a true taste of Italian in San Diego County!
Excellent food and service. Salad with arugula and goat cheese was the bomb! So good. Delicious chicken lasagne. Nice Chianti wine with dinner. Tartufo dessert was the perfect ending to a fabulous meal. Go .
Husband and I had a great dinner. The Cioppino was a "5" - great (and generous) mix of seafood, nicely spiced, and I've had several over the past few weeks, including in the Pacific Northwest with great seafood. Husband's dish, similar to chicken parmesean with spinach, was good ("4"). Service was very good, friendly, etc. and outdoor dining a plus. Would definitely recommend, and return next time we're in town!
Fantastic small Italian place on the 101 in Encinitas. I have been here a millions times and always enjoy!
We had a wonderful time at this restaurant, sat outside on the street side seating. The service was super helpful with choosing from their amazing selection of dishes. I had risotto - 20. With some sort of white fish which was excellent. Also gnocchi which was fantastic, paired with an excellent Duvel Belgian beer. They brought out a little bit of tiramisu for dessert. Not too expensive. Food came quickly. Super happy we'll go back!
First time customer last night! I had the cioppino, which was EXCELLENT. Quality seafood, well-balanced variety (not a ton of just one or two seafood items), and such a good portion that I couldn't finish it all. Yes, I took a to-go container and family will just have to deal with the smell of fish because I'm eating the rest tonight! They have a number of menu items that look divine and I'm quite excited to return and try them.I did try the Cab and the Super Tuscan. They were okay, will try others on my next visit. My partner had the cheese & spinach ravioli. I did try a bit of a ravioli that he didn't smother in parmesan (he's always extra cheesy) and great flavors. Really liked the sauce.A person walked by right after my partner ordered and commented on it being one of his favorite dishes too! Was cute.I wish I wasn't too full to try their desserts. Hopefully next time, and then I can post how they are. Optimistic on the future visit!
Ok I'll admit to loving the multiple selections and generous portions at the Olive Garden. The value is exceptional. Now the flip side of that coin is a pasta dish that tasty, but really overpriced. Its pasta, like rice and potatoes,an extremely cheap ingredient. There are those who go for the ambiance and we were seated outdoors, just a few feet from the traffic and exhaust on PCH. Mind you the dish was very flavorful, but not so good,as to improve my score .
