Really good food. The chorizo was cooked great. And the carne asada was as well. The biarra tacos were full of flavor

Parking: Plenty in plazaAmbience: Traditional Mexican fast food with the Mariachi playingService: The cashier taking my order was very welcoming and offered great recommendations.Food: I ordered 3 fish taco 2 white sauce, 1 Chipotle, and their Encinitas Surf & turf burrito. All were Amazing!Military Discount: Not anymoreOverall: The food and service is always great here. I would say their surf and turf here is one of the best I’ve had in San Diego but it is pretty small.

Ordered a California burrito which was pretty awesome tasting. Fries were not under cooked like a lot places and the meat was decent quality. Decent looking restrooms too. The only negative thing was the wait. I must have been there close to 30 minutes. Seems to be a common theme in some of the aforementioned interviews.

this is one of my favorite california burritos in san diego! it’s huge and comes with all the best fillings. easy parking and call ahead ordering is super simple. i go out of my way to come here for burritos and tacos :)

The Food is bland, boring, and not authentic at all! Their guacamole is out of a container from CostCo and pureed into a texture of diarrhea. I tried their Chile Relleno and there was very little cheese in it and they left all the seeds inside which makes it very slimy and gross. Their Beef Enchiladas were terrible, they just boiled the beef, no taste, super bland, no flavor. I order their Al Pastor tacos which were ok, still very flavorless, and they did not even give me a little piece of pineapple with it. I have always ordered from other restaurants Al Pastor tacos and they give a little piece of pineapple in the taco. I asked the cashier if I could have a little piece of pineapple for my taco, and she charge me extra. Whatever!! They have a salsa bar to choose from, and they all taste like they are not homemade at all, but from a container. I went with 6 other people and everyone felt the same as I did, so I know it is just not me. Also a friend of mine purchased their food with a credit card, they only purchase they used on the card that day, and then they started getting various charges on their card that they did not use it for. They put a stop on the credit card with the credit card company. I am not saying the restaurant is responsible for this, but its seems pretty shady..

We poked our heads in the door a half hour before opening time. Russ, the owner, invited us in and took our order. We got huevos rancheros and a breakfast burrito. The food, the hospitality, and the value were exceptional! Oh, and the coffee was the best. If you are looking for a GREAT MEAL, do not hesitate to come in here.

Soooooo let down by this place. Came in and got a carne asada burrito ? ( smallest Burrito ever ) waited over 30 minutes and had to go eat again after eating here. Customer service sucks and so does the food. I gave 2 starz ⭐️ ⭐️ instead of 1. Because the green sauce was bomb. Definitely won’t be back

This place is absolutely amazing! From their breakfast burritos to their tacos it’s mouth watering. Russ is the owner who greets you with a smile and cares about the quality of his restaurant. I HIGHLY suggest popping into this spot.

Great food clean establishment and flat-screen TVs to watch. Music was nice while I eat.

Serranos is our go-to when we’re craving tacos and beers. We usually go on a Friday night and order pastor tacos, fish tacos and beers and for 2 adults leave under $30. Good quality, fresh, and friendly service. While we selfishly want to keep this place to ourselves we also want it to be wildly successful so we can keep coming back!
