Always consistent and good quality. I stopped by for a quick bite and got two chicken tacos.
Taco was quite full with lettuce and cheese but the chicken mixture was runny and not very flavorful. They also didn't give me enough napkins and there weren't any around available in the seating area.
I love Roberto's and I'm lucky enough to live close to 3 shops! There aren't all that many left. Food is always good and the last time I ate at the shop off Encinitas Blvd. ( 2 days ago), the red hot sauce was so darn good I just could not get enough! Highly recommend.

Really bad customer service the cashier was an older lady and she was mad im not sure why but I tried to ask some questions about the food and she wouldn't respond and when I finally got my food I ask for an extra sauce and she just threw it at the counter.And the food was not that good, everything is pre cooked cuz I ordered carne asada fries and it didn't even take 5 minutes.Also 11.80 for the carne asada fries.Would not recommend.

Why are they so mean? I always go in there with a smile hoping their bad attitude was just a one off, and sadly, they do a repeat. This last time they got my order wrong, and the girl dropped two salsas on the floor while handing me my food. She didn't bother to pick them up when she walked away, almost like an act of defiance. And as usual... she was extra nasty and robotic when I asked for an extra salsa. Won't return.
the place smells like sewage and the cashiers are not friendly. the food is average or better.
