Have to give one star only because we came over on a Sunday at 6pm and the place was closed. Disappointed that info online was incorrect.
My criteria: It's all about the guacamole. Great, friendly service and authentic music playing in the background. The condiment/salsa bar. They offer the usual carrots/peppers/salsa and then take it up with watermelon. Random: they serve gyro with fresh tzatziki sauce. Enjoy!
Use to be great but not anymore. Must be under new ownership or something. Food is very underwhelming. California burrito is not what it use to be.
Everything this place makes is amazing. From tacos to all types of food. This place is a must try.

Ricos!!! What everyone screams when they want a good burrito. This place is quality. Their hot sauce is the secret ingredient. So get a lot! Get a Cali with avo.(not guacamole, avo!) ask for some carrots and tell them Scott sent you! Best burrito shop in the world. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, this place is delicious and always a winner.

Rico’s is just one of those local spots you can rely on for good food every time. The breakfast burritos are awesome and can be customized with basically anything you’d want. Will always stop by when visiting Carlsbad.
Ok not really q Mexican tacoshop lol its white people working there not saying anything bad ? just missing the Mexican final touch on the food so I can really taste Mexican lol
