Small but Mighty! This restaurant serves delicious fresh, shareable plates that satisfy a world of flavor. Bring your palette and be prepared to be wowed!

The food and flavors here are great, but on our last visit a few things stood out that weren't so good. There's a hidden 5% "service charge" added to tickets (you don't see it unless you ask for an itemized receipt as they don't bring you the ticket).More egregiously, we ordered a drink that turned out to have added sugar (which was not listed on the menu's ingredients). My wife can't have added refined sugar but detected it after one single sip. The server said that was too bad and couldn't do anything about it as my wife had taken a sip. She would not take it off the check.I like the restaurant and concept, but this service experience was sup-par.

Our past experience was a real mess… order was not ready five minutes after real time posted in internet ordering system. The restaurant didn’t knew about it. After a 30 minutes waiting for the order veggie empanadas were to spice. Not eating or going back to this place…

Terrific food and service.I had the plantain appetizer and it was amazing. Also had their signature beverage cold Which was terrific and unusual. And I had the Check it in cream sauce that was also a terrific. :)

The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I will definitely be back.

My daughter and son-in-law took us there with their 3 month old baby. We were there at 2pm........I am learning you eat when baby says you can ! We were the only guests when we arrived in this delightfully decorated , Peruvian native art, masks and religious works of art , establishment. It's quite small and you can feel the pride of ownership throughout. It is a fairly small menu but offers a lot.....the appetizer plates are like tapas plates for sharing. Empinadas..delicious, yuca with a tany lime sauce, delightfully fresh, the best..I really mean it.......the best calamari dish I have ever had...and trust me I have travelled the world. Go there just for the calamari............cooked to perfection then dipped in the lime sauce..to die for! The beef dish that I had (Lomo Saltado) was juicy, ample pieces of beef combined with peppers, onions and potatoes and delightfully pleasing herbs and spices. We had sangria, a red wine sangria and unlike most they do not cheat by filling the pitcher with ice, 1 pitcher is plenty for four thirsty adults . The SERVICE was charming and warm and very attentive and the service was well timed. Could not have been more enjoyable...will go back every time I visit my daughter in Oceanside.

So so so so good. Can't believe I've worked around the block for a decade and am only eating here for the first time. For shame! The lamb was amazing. Tender, juicy, meat falling off the bone. Beef empanada was bomb as well. Papa rellena was new and interesting, lots of meat and potato, excellent ?.Lomo saltado flank steak was great but not as good as the lamb. Good wine selection.

I had the most delicious dinner this evening at Q’ero! Despite being short staffed and having a limited menu, the service was wonderful and the food was fantastic. I am looking forward to returning :)

Very good food in the plating was excellent. They did their best to be very accommodating.

We wandered by Q’ero and a patron sitting outside encouraged us to try the food. The meal we’ve just eaten is one of the best I’ve ever had. We enjoyed the ceviche, beet salad, and chicken empanadas. We recommend Q’ero with enthusiasm!!!
