My parents had lunch there on Monday. They had a good experience, so they made a reservation on their way out for this evening, in celebration of their 59th wedding anniversary.When we arrived, they had no record of our reservation for 10 people. That should have been an omen. We were seated after a 5 minute wait. The place was busy and clearly understaffed. The servers were in continuous motion. Our drink order was taken in a reasonable time, but we didn't see our waiter for another 20 minutes. She apologized when she finally took our order. We didn't see her again until our meal was completed. It took about another 40 minutes to start getting our food, which arrived over a 10 minute interval. I had to go into the kitchen and spoon my own ketchup and ranch dressing for my wife. My father had to go into the kitchen to get parmesan and pepper for his pizza. I returned to the kitchen, as though I were a server, to retrieve my niece's order of fried pickels. We tried ordering a drink from a person who brought our food, but he said we had to order from our server. We were never able to order that drink.The food was poor (mac n' cheese, fried pickels, pineapple pizza) to good (magarita pizza, salad).We should have at least recieved an "I survived Oggi's" T-shirts on our way out.
Amazing staff love the pizza and wings...portions are perfect/ lots of drink specials and more than enough games to catch
The beyond burger wrapped in lettuce, dripped with ranch was absolutely delightful. The fries were cooked to perfection. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The wait staff was extremely accommodating and attentive. Highly recommended
I love this place. The pizza is just fantastic, fresh toppings and cooked to perfection. The chicken tortilla soup IS OFF THE CHAIN!!!! The best chicken tortilla soup I've ever had! Love the garlic knots too. The service is great, a little slow because of staff shortage. Not a big deal for me, but just be aware.
We loved put experience at Oggi’s! Great service, food, and fun. Loved the quinoa / avocado salad and the pizza is great!
Disappointed in the cinna knots. The menu said they came with cream cheese frosting, but they didn't and when I asked the waitress for it, she said it didn't come with any.I would have gotten the cinna bites but she said they were out of the s'mores toppings for it.Little disappointed in the size of the mimosa for $6.The staff was very nice though.
We phoned in a 2 pizza order and we we showed up to pick it up they man who took our order said he never received our call. We showed him and the manager the call log proving he was lying and they doubled down saying they don’t know what happened but still never received our call. Terrible customer service and an out right lie. Will never order from here again.
Pizza place with a full bar! It’s amazing for meals, sports, and a good drink. The staff is incredible and very welcoming.
If one wants a hardcore, local sports bar, then this is the place to come on a Sunday afternoon. Regulars were everywhere and very friendly with staff. Many were absolutely _hit-faced. I'm happy for them. Me? I came here for the fresh beer and pizza. The beer isn't great, but it offers more than the IPA-heavy menus everyone else offers in 2021. I had a cream, pale, Scottish and stout. Paying $7.50 for a pint gave me sticker shock, all right. I ordered a so-called "extra large" Margherita pizza. There simply wasn't enough pizza there. It was all right, I suppose, and even microwaved in my motel room the next morning decently. $60 with conservative tip out the door just didn't seem worth it overall. I first discovered the place in Huntington Beach, CA. It also catered to heavy sports fans. It is now closed for some reason. Since I'm not a sports fan and am no longer pleased with the overall value, then it is unlikely I will return. I'll go to Borelli's on Camino Real instead.
Bad food, bad service, bad franchise. The encinitas Oggi’s is dark, windows filled with live grossFlies in the bar windows. We were seated in the bar, the restaurant dining room was empty at 5:30, I guess we found out why. Took a good 15 minutes before a server came to our table- I sent hubby to the bartender to at least get us drinks until a server arrived to our table. Greasy bad bar food, no service and really gross tables, windows and surroundings. We parked in the parking lot and in the brushes in their back parking lot, swear drug deals were going down with teens- no joke!
