Eat in or out. Presentation was beautiful and food very good.
The food was generally good. There aren't a lot of options, but what we chose was very tasty. We had been coming here for years. Their prices are quite reasonable, and their portions are generous.The one problem I have is that I had an incident with a waitress on the way out the door. I asked her a simple question and she seemed extremely standoffish and acted as if she had to go, or was really too busy to answer a question from a customer. I will say that she was not my waitress and the only reason I asked this lady was because I was on my way out the door and my waiter wasn't around. But for one of the few times in my life, I felt genuinely uncomfortable and genuinely devalued as a client. For the record, I was a perfect gentleman and tipped well.I could assume that this was simply a one-off incident or that she was having a bad day. But again, I felt very, very, uncomfortable.

If you want to drink beer and listen to live music this is good spot for that. Food is good especially their baked potatoe and the salad that comes with the fish and chips. I wish their appetizers menu was bigger.

Very chill restaurant, comfy chairs, loved the music and the food. I had the Alaskan Cod panko breaded with grilled mushroom and a loaded baked potato. Plenty of parking and easy to get to from the freeway.
3 of us stopped for for dinner and a beer or two a couple nights back. Two of us had the prime rib dinner the other fish and chips ( really large order of Alaskan cod ). All 3 meals were delicious and cooked to perfection. The reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars was because the service was not worthy of more than 2.5….would definitely eat here again.
Ribs were nice and tender, chili was very flavorful, drinks were on par, and the waitresses were great at their job. Would definitely go back again.
Love peabodys! The waitresses are always so friendly, the food is amazing and they have a happy hour no one can beat. The breakfast tacos are a staple in our family and the manmosas are a weekly event. The only negative review I have for this magical place is that the potato tacos were taken off the menu. I. Am. Devastated. We are in mourning. Please please please bring them back!
Great live music, especially jazz. Friendly, fun and welcoming staff, and outdoor seating is available near the fire pylons, which is especially inviting. Dogs are treated with enthusiasm as true companions in the outdoor front seating area. Come to watch your favorite sporting event, grab a Sprite...sometimes there's even a current and engaging tennis match on one of the big screens. Mr. P.'s always seems to have something happening...and the avocado quesadilla is wonderful. *More vegetarian menu options, as well as vegan choices would be phenomenal to see; they're definitely a feature of North County and in demand in Encinitas.'Worth a stop; and if you go, chances are, you'll be back; there's too much to regret if you miss this chance.
