We love this place! The pizza is flavorful, unique, and customizable. I love that our family can eat there for $35 bucks with the family meal coupon! The garlic knots are so soft and full of flavor. My favorite specialty pizza is the Mama Mia. The tangy gorgonzola with the spicy pepperoni placed on top of spinach is amazingly perfect. My favorite part of ordering from Mr. Moto is the yummy drizzles that you can add to any pizza. This location is fun because it's in downtown Encinitas, where nightlife is full of fun energy, and lots of families out spending time together. Ordering can be kind of pricey if you don't have coupons, but it's totally worth it. On weeknights, they have limited slices, so that's a bummer, but on weekends, there are more selections. The ingredients are really fresh, and the dough has lots of flavor. I think that the fountain drinks are slightly overpriced, but free refills make up for if you drink multiple sodas, which I don't. This is a great place to go for lunch after a couple of hours down at Moonlight Beach. Great for family and just buddies grabbing a slice.
This used to be my favorite spot. I've recommended these calzone to all my friends and family. Tonight we got one that I think they forgot there was cheese involved. I first toured the one in North Park on 30th... First bad experience was point Loma and now this. I guess it's time to find a new favorite.

Jose took care of our family with friendly fast service and a great meal. The slices are finished after selection and have a crispy bottom and chewy top with a dozen interesting selections.
I got the Mr. Moto pizza w basil added to it and it was ? ! Red sweater Riley was crushing it behind the counter too! ? Super positive fun person that added alot to the experience! Definitely gets my five ⭐️ review.
I love authentic pizza hand tossed right in front of you. Lots of different varieties of pizzas great specials and beer on tap. Also great service, I think it's clever to name the pizzas cool names. I bought the wave, mama Mia looked good as well.
Encinitas has its fair share of mediocre pizza. Mr Moto is not one of them. The NY style pizza is exactly what you want it to be. The stuffed garlic knots are exactly what you never knew you needed.TO MGMT: You have a lot of potential with the stuffed garlic knots. Show some creativity, but stay true to your roots.
Mr. Moto is a solid pizzeria chain overall.The gluten-free crust option is nice and thin and crispy if you’re into that. Garlic knots are also very indulgent and tasty.This location is sometimes fairly understaffed, so service can be a bit slow or inconsistent. That’s the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Solid option for lunch or a quick bite. Very friendly staff and good prices. The pizza won't knock your socks off, but it's good enough to satisfy a NYer.
