Pretty good tasting tacos. Got the Carne Asada ones and was pretty impressed. I wasn’t a huge fan of the thicker tortilla. Now I’ll be a straight shooter and say, that Tacos Del Gordo down in Chula Vista are better. But I will give this spot five stars for having some pretty solid tasting tacos in the north county area. Recommended to anyone!
What a yummy place... ? we stopped here for the first time and the fish tacos were awesome. I can't wait to try other things like Tuesday taco.
Tasty toppings make Los Tacos a cut above typical strip mall taco place. Al Pastor on a spit, with pineapple. Fish Tacos, perfect, again due to sauces and toppings. And Avocado based salsa scorches, as hot should. We will be back.

Go there if you are hungry! I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was huge. Made the mistake to order three rolled tacos because I thought I would be hungry :) The Rolled tacos are crispy and have real beef inside with cheese ,shredded lettuce and salsa Fresca & sour cream & avocado cream on the side. Great Mexican food in Encinitas!
Family owned and operated. Very nice people and a big concern for quality and friendly service. Great tasting burritos very flavorful salsa. They play happy Mexican music. All in all a great experience we will definitely come back. Thank you guys for a job well done close to home.
Delicious food. Lots of love you can see put into your meal as the kitchen is open. Prices are reasonable. Good variety of tacos, burritos were delicious.
Wow. Tacos were EXTREMELY tasty. Their pastor had perfect sweet spices and reminded me of Cabo San Lucas. I never usually get burritos but I tried their Fish Burrito? ?and it was SUPER ?. They put a great protion of bomb fried fish. The creme and Pico combo inside the burrito is sweet and fresh! I highly recommend this joint, everything made fresh for sure. ??
The food is definitely good. I wouldn't say great but definitely good. The food is made fresh and there is a great variety of proteins. I didn't care for the corn tortillas. They were too thick and lacked the amazing taste of fresh made corn tortillas. There is a big difference between tacos made with fresh made tortillas and store bought tortillas. I don't think these were fresh made tortillas. The carnitas was great. The Carne asada and fish lacked and real flavor. The salsas are great especially the medium red. The pre COVID salsa bar is stocked with bagged limes for convenience. The two things that stood out for me...friendly professional staff/employees. I'm a high maintenance customer with some foods. I'm no onions and cilantro. Not a single Rolling of the eyes by anyone. Also I wanted to try a variety of tacos. The female taking my order said no problem to my taco trio combo with three different proteins. Most restaurants don't allow this option unless buying the tacos individually. Here is the cherry on top of the sundae. Los Tacos serves beverages but no alcohol. The Brewers Tap Room is two doors down and they have no problem with customers ordering from Los Tacos but eating there. I cannot resist a cold beer with Mexican Food. Overall Los Tacos has good food with great staff.
Food is 5 stars, service 4.Tacos and burritos - especially the Baja fish - are delicious.4 stars for service because they can sometimes be pretty slow. In particular watch out if calling in for pickup - they’ll always promise 20 minutes regardless of the day/time, and it’s often much longer than that, leaving you standing there for a while.
