Wonderful coffee and pastry. The croissant I purchased was one of the best I have had in a long time. The Turkish coffee was fantastic!
There are two Lofty Coffees across from each other in Encinitas. This isa review for the smaller one on the west side of the street closer to the beach. The food was tasty, fresh and healthy. The service was friendly. The bread used on the turkey sandwhich was delicious.
The coffee is amazing. The atmosphere is perfect for a chat, studying or just coming to eat. The service is wonderful. There is a wide range of choices to pick from also!Their tea is freshly brewed on the spot, and their Acai Bowl is perfect, all in all a wonderful place to visit, 10/10 recommend.

Great coffee with a neat view of the street!My wife and I stopped by for some caffination on the road from Del Mar to Oceanside. Situated on a hill overlooking hwy 101, this coffee house and roastery offers great views of the cars passing by below from its ample patio seating. The three adorable dogs and the dog bowls we saw tell me this patio is pet friendly.If you're looking for a spot away from the road noise, there is covered seating behind the main building.I had the Kyoto cold brew, brewed through a fancy looking "Kyoto Tower," which was a 4 foot tall long-steeping apparatus imported from Japan. The theatre of this in the main ordering area is fabulous. The coffee had notes of chocolate on the finish and was served over ice in a mason jar.My only regret wat that I did not order the same coffee in their "Cloudy with a chance of Coffee" beverage, which had a delicious, fluffy, whipped milk/vanilla concoction on top that added some much appreciated sweetness to the Tokyo cold brew.I also had a sea salt chocolate chip cookie, which was fine. I wish I had tried one of their croissants instead.Great coffee with a good view and a fun, pet friendly atmosphere. I will be back for one of those croissants!
I recently was visiting the area. Walking down to the beach I found this great little coffee shop. It was busy but the wait was not long. My latte was delicious and don't forget the almond croissants fantastic! The staff was very friendly.
I'm not sure why I had never stopped at this great coffee shop before, but I certainly will be coming back!The coffee was excellent, the ambiance was great (I especially loves the outdoor seating and the Kyoto coffee tree), and they are pet friendly. Such a great place - I highly recommend you try them!
Aztec mocha with oat was spicy but very pleasant. Nice location, and seating situation. Freshly roasted beans can be purchased. Pastries and small bites are available. Road can be little noisy, bring your headhones if you are working/studying.
Great coffee and delicious pastry. Perfect location for cyclists on PCH either direction. Very friendly cashier too.
