Service was quick.and.friendly.I thought Lobster rolls were supposed to be hot with butter and that's what I was most excited for but IT WASNT. ?I Researched it later and apparently they are both served hot and cold just in General. But I don't know if the place will do a hot one.?They did not ask me which I preferred which they might want to consider too.I also thought because it's Seafood. I might get an automatic butter cup but no dice. I also ordered to go and they did not give me any utensils or napkins by default. But they did have plenty available near the exit. They have 3 levels of meat stuffing for more or less money and I got the largest size crab roll, and compared to other rolls I've had it seemed normal sized if that. The meat was also coming way more out of the top than it was actually inside the roll. Even though it was cold it still did taste good .I just would've much preferred it with hot lemon butter.I know Seafood and especially shellfish are expensive and seasonally priced but I felt like the price was too much for the experience. About17% too much. Not many people were there so maybe it's not much of a local favorite.
Went here for a quick dinner. Sat on the patio as they are closed inside. Got the regular lobster roll with 50% more meat. $28 which is actually not that expensive for a lobster roll. Lobster was good. NOT mayo based. Some seasoning on it. Didn't try the sides.
I thought my roll was going to be warm and in butter but it was cold and in mayo. Thankfully it wasn't much mayo at all and it was still very delicious. The bisque was very good!!! I was happy with my lunch, albeit pricey, but I would go elsewhere next time I want a lobster roll. The staff is very nice!
The New England Clam Chowder was like Heaven ?!! The Crab ? and Lobster Rolls were Seasoned to Perfection !! So Yummy ?!!
I had the Classic Lobster Roll for lunch, along with coleslaw and kettle cooked chips for my two sides. The lobster roll is a little pricey at $21, but super delicious, melt in your mouth buttery lobster and roll. The coleslaw was also super! Definitely worth a little splurge!!
Nice host/order taker. 1st time there....the rolls were small. I'm a New Englander and the roll was good but for $25 there was only about .25 lb of meat if that. They do offer extra if you want more.Whoopie pie was good.
the seafood rolls were good, but could've of been sooo much better with some seasonings and a touch of spice! that option would be nice!
I vsited Lobster West after a day hike and split the Main Event (full lobster roll, shrimp roll, and crab roll) with my fiance. It made for a fairly expensive lunch (almost $50 with no sides or drinks), but was very tasty. I wouldn't recommend that someone order the shrimp roll, as the shrimp did not look fresh/local. However, the crab roll was good and the lobster roll was to die for. If I ever return, I'd like to try their Lobster Bisque and/or Clam Chowder. It's cool that they have a flight of soup. I'm happy I had the experience of eating at Lobster West, but don't think I'd go out of my way to return.
These by far were the best lobster rolls I’ve ever had! They lightly grill the rolls with butter then stuff them with huge chunks of lobster! Simply delicious!!
Very tasty sammiches/rolls!! We opted for the combo just to try it out! 1 roll, 1 coleslaw, 1 bag of kettle cooked chips; jalapeno, salt n' vinegar..and a slice of ? we pushed in down with a can coke, sprite n' bottled old fashioned ?ade..it was a yummy treat after a walk at the O'side pier..We'll try the ?, ? n' sammiches/roll combo next time!
