The best soup ever! Doesn't matter which one, all are delish. Been coming here since 1989. So good????
Wonderful food and service! We really enjoyed the margaritas!
The chicken soup is as good as it gets from a restaurant. I always add a bowl of the salsa to mix in with the soup and crush up the tortilla chips which really adds whatever you could say it lacks. The carne asada burrito is also delicious. As much as I love enchiladas, their green sauce is not very good. Service is excellent always!
Good food. The beef enchiladas were good. The rice was good. Their guacamole is good because it's simple and I like their salsa with it. Definitely try another dish next time. Can't wait to try it again sometime. It gets super busy and one area for the dining room and a little small, but it's good.
I've been going there since they opened in 1977 or 1978. I love the food, but I'm pretty selective in that judgment, as I limit myself to a few dishes. I love the breakfasts and the caldos, where I get either the chicken soup or the caldo Tlalpeño (this one is for serious people only). The chicken mole enchiladas are also delicious. The staff are all wonderful and friendly. (RIP, Angel) Two thumbs up!
Service was bad and food was terrible! Margaritas were watered down, salsa tasted off, fish smelled like bait and the refried beans had zero flavor. Yikes on the whole situation!
Rock solid Mexican meal. Had the cheese enchiladas and shrimp enchiladas. Soooo good!!
They did have s request for more staff so that may have been the problem but we were outside and they totally forgot us over and over and everyone I'd try to get their attention it didn't work. We love cheese enchiladas but we did not love their sauce but it did seem very authentic very molesque, but not like the enchilada sauce we are used too. The beans and rice were ok but not super flavorful. The cabbage salad was tasty but my kids didn't like it.
The food is amazing!!! The soups satiate your soul!!! Especially the tlalpeno.
Food is good. Can't say much but if you want a regular burrito to go, this isn't it. They're usually soggy and hard to eat on the go. Also Tip: If you don't like cheese on top of your burrito, let them know. Otherwise you'll have to scrape it off like me.
