The four of us were first-timers with high expectations given the number of very good recommendations from friends. Unfortunately we left with a less than outstanding impression, but still consider it a good (not great) Italian restaurant. We were seated on the patio which was lovely--in fact the best part of the experience. It took an extremely long time for anyone to approach our table to give us water or bread and even longer to approach with silverware and napkins, let along start explaining the specials, etc. Not a good intro. The Caesar salad was good, but our main courses were just average--linguine with clams and veal parmigiana. The dessert, chocolate lava cake, was missing the lava-- it was dry and not oozy. We'll probably try again.
The food and service is always excellent. We sat outside on the patio and had a nice table in the shade. We celebrated a birthday and they were generous to comp dessert to celebrate. Have the eggplant parmigiana. You canât go wrong!
Excellent service and food
As always, the food and service is superb! We each try a different dish when we visit and have never been disappointed.
First time here and had great expectations. The food was good overall. The waitress was fine, although she added my husband's ravioli to my carbonara leftovers, which was a disappointment. There was a lack of ambiance. We sat outside on the raved about patio and the overall appearance was old, dated and untidy to say the least. No music. Waitress seemed disconnected and unenthusiastic. We drove 35+ minutes to get here and will most likely not bother to return.
Wonderful restaurant to enjoy with friends. Great service and delicious food served. Firenze has a very stable operation, so no worries coming there.
Good as ever food and service
Firenze has been one of our favorite local places for many years. The food is always satisfying and wonderfully served. The staff is friendly and always helpful.
Service is excellent, front of house is very friendly, food is delicious. Canât recommend enough.
This is our 2nd visit. Food is consistenly excellent. We both had the seafood specials which were very good.
