I had the watermelon ice and chocolate non dairy ice creams. They were both fantastic. There is a huge selection of flavors. The layout of the store is a bit confusing and it is often hard to read the ice cream flavor sign as an employee is usually standing in front of it waiting on customers. However, this is a minor point. Cali ice cream is highly recommended.
Staff was very friendly. Offered samples of any of their 55 flavors. Some of the best ice cream my wife and I have ever tasted. Really liked the Vanilla peanut butter salted fudge.
Perfect spot to grab ice cream! We come here often and our pups love the mini cones. Amazing staff that always has a smile and are helpful in every way. They also make ice cream cakes for birthdays which I have yet to take advantage of. Nice location and better service. Definitely recommend for the delicious flavors and reasonable prices!
We get this every time we come to Encinitas. It is truly one of the best ice cream places around. It has unique flavors, and they are all so delicious. They give generous portions as well.
We stopped down to see Moonlight beach and decided to walk up for an ice cream. We were greeted by a lovely and knowledgeable server who explained a little about the homemade ice cream before she took our order. There were so many delicious choices it was hard but the hubs chose a waffle cone with Pistachio and Mint chocolate chip and I had a waffle dish with a scoop of gooey fudge brownie and a scoop of chocolate covered strawberry- man, it was delicious! Lots of brownie chunks, deep chocolate flavor, the pistachio had more flavor and nuts in it than ever previously experienced. Highly recommend this stop ??
This ice cream is amazing and the pup loved her ice cream cone too. I definitely recommend the butter pecan. There so many pecans we also tried the buttered rum and you could actually taste the rum.
Cali Cream Ice Cream is the BEST!!!. The owner takes pride in his Creations, hand made on location!. I think there is not a flavor missing. Every there is very welcoming and friendly, when there is always a line and they are open late, sometimes up to 11pm there must be a reason. Quality is the key, and Cali Cream has the Master!. This is a must stop if your local or just passing through, just a 2min drive from the fwy on the coast of Encinitas in The Lofts by Moonlight Beach. Parking is always not an issue either. Once you have had it you will make it your go to destination for Ice Cream.
10 out of 5 stars!!!!! It's my birthday and I just had to get the biggest ice cream. Ordered the waffle bowl with 2 scoops and 3 toppings and a note saying it's my birthday, when it got delivered I was surprised by the note they left me on the bag saying happy birthday the dipped bowl is on us . Besides just getting ice cream after at 12+hr work day; receiving a note and the dipped bowl made me so happy I started typing this seconds after I started eating. The ice cream was packed to the top and the toppings came in their own little containers and I want to thank everyone who is working today for making my birthday even better.
So hard to find black licorice, and it was good! There was plenty of on-site outdoor seating. Servings are very generous
Amazing homemade ice cream! They do flights of ice cream! Need I say more?! Prices and flavor/quality can't be beat! We went twice in the 2.5 day vacation we were there!
