I am Lebanese, so my bar is very high when it comes to lebanese food. The salad was great and the meal comes generously with baklava and a lentil soup. The portion is very generous overall. However, the chicken kabob was not what I expected. My friends loved it, I didn’t.

I love this restaurant. The service is always super friendly, my food is always hot when I receive it and I love that they give me a small lentil soup with each order. The pomegranate chicken is sooo good. Flavors are great!

My first visit. I came based on 4.7 star reviews. Portions were ample but lamb skewers were tough and rice pilaf was dry and bland, maybe only seasoned with a bit of turmeric. Side salad with tomatoes was ample and well dressed.

I love to get the combo plate and I usually get the pomegranate chicken and either shrimp kabob or a lamb kebab and it is absolutely wonderful and it comes with a garlic sauce and a big salad, rice and soup. Their lentil soup is amazing and they usually give you a slice of baklava but if you just want a shawarma wrap you won't be disappointed

I really appreciate lentil soup and backlava with my wrap, but the soup and wrap were just salty. Generous portions of beef shawarma but it seemed like that was the only thing in the wrap. Couldn't make out any tomatoes or pickles or other items in the copious amount of gravy.Maybe I chose the wrong item, but would probably pass if I were in the area.

Lot and lot of vegetarian choices. Excellent taste and service.

remarkable falafel wrap, greek salad, baklava!

Amazing food with large portions. We got the chicken liver plate and came with a delicious spicy garlic sauce for the liver. The platter was enough to feed two. They included lentil soup and baklava for dessert for free as well. Be prepared for cash only though!

Wally’s cafe in Emeryville provides authentic Lebanese cuisine by their friendly staff. What surprised us most was how tasty the Baklava was!!! It’s fluffy, nutty, fragrant but not oily! With the meat combo you can chose two choices of meats. We got the beef shawarma and the pomegranate chicken. Both very tender and flavorful! The lentil soup was a little too salty so we didn’t finish it.The hummus and the falafel were also one of the BEST! The salad, tahini, pilaf were also tasty. You could eat at the bar next to the kitchen but you have to order a drink. You could also eat in the terrace outside without having to order any drinks.Overall we loved the food there so much and will return again:)

Best. Food. Ever. The place is tiny with only few seatings, but you can dine at the bar next door as long as you'll order something from the bar, which is convenient cause you can get your drinks there.?But food at Wally's is really good and the portion is good considering the price! We usually get the Kebab platter, and it will come with a soup, salad and desserts! The lentil soup is probably one of the best I've had and the rice, Omg, it is really good! The baklava too is very tasty. Overall worth for your money!
