Hotel was nice. We stayed there 4 nights. Went to San Francisco daily. Convenient to bay bridge and short ride to the ferry dock Enjoyed the lobby bar in the evenings. Serve food until 10/drinks to 11. Never ate breakfast. Overall a nice place to stay

My husband recently stayed at this hotel for a business trip and ran into a health issue in the middle of the night. Luckily Jamal was on duty and provided outstanding service and help! Great staff! Responsive, kind, professional!! Highly recommend this hotel. The room was very clean and nice.

Older property. Very friendly staff and helpful. Small rooms, just a bed and a desk chair. Rooms are clean, however they are not serviced until the 4th day of your stay. Water pressure in the shower is lacking. Breakfast is scrambled egg buffet for $20.00. If you just want coffee it’s $4.00. Travel for business and used to a higher standard than what I am currently getting from Hilton. After 20 plus years with I’m looking at other chains.

We stayed 5 nights at the Hilton Garden SF/Oakland Bay Bridge hotel and were told that we did not stay long enough to receive any level of room cleaning or housecleaning services during our visit. We had to pursue the housecleaning staff daily to get new bath towels, soap, coffee, tea, shampoo, etc. We were never asked by anyone if we had any needs. We were told by two staff members that we had to stay longer in order to get our room cleaned. Our bathroom was never cleaned, our floor was never vacuumed, our bed was never made and our bed linens were never changed. We paid over $200 per night to gain this kind of very poor customer service in a Hilton hotel. We were additionally charged $90 per day for a security deposit which was removed/refunded at time of checkout. Why is such a large security deposit required given our credit card information had already been provided to cover all room expenses.

Rooms are only cleaned after check-out or 5 days, whichever comes first. After multiple stays by various guests, the dirt builds up in the room. Watch out for BED BUGS and very dirty rooms. UNSANITARY! Hotel won't clean rooms in order to save money but still very expensive.

This property has been my regular destination near Alameda for years, but this stay will have me finding another location. 1) The room, while generally looking good, smelled bad. 2) They no longer provide complimentary coffee in the lobby (a standard Hilton Garden Inn item). 3) The breakfast buffet is now $20 against a HHonors diamond credit of $10 - and most other mid-tier hotels have a free buffet. 4) There is no longer a cook-to-order breakfast option, which is a major reason that I generally select Hilton Garden Inns. The bottom line here is that they are still priced like a Hilton Garden Inn, but are no longer providing the standard services that differentiate the brand.

Front desk lady advised me to cancel Uber and she would call me a taxi when my Uber was delayed. I told her I had a deadline and she said she would help. Turns out she just called another private car, her mate, and there was no way they would arrive in time. Staff member did not care at all. Shocking service.

Room was fine. But in checking out the Uber I ordered did not show. So I ordered another one and asked staff at reception for help. Staff told me to cancel Uber and she would order me a taxi. I told her I had a deadline to catch a long distance train. Turns out she did not order a taxi. She ordered another private car. Which did not arrive either. Staff did not care. I nearly missed my train. I had to walk 4 blocks with all my luggage. Staff lied about taxi and only ordered private car probably as they get a kick back from it. If using Amtrak, stay at Hyatt Place instead. Staff there actually helped me get to my train when they saw how puffed I was. Hilton staff don’t care, honours member or not. Avoid this hotel.

Very friendly people, great location, and amazing view. Front desk gave a warm welcome to me and my family, great place to recommend to others.location close to everything for whatever you’re looking for, Would book again!

Food was ok, bartender was very rude to the hotel staff both nights I was there for ordering meals. Not cool to do in front of customers
