I love this place. I come very often and usually have great service. However, I had a different experience this time. I was not even half way finished with my meal and was delivered my check as if I was to be rushed out. I then asked for another drink, because I was still enjoying my meal and was given my check again immediately after. As somebody who has been in the service industry for years, this is not good for business. I don't like to feel rushed when I am treating myself to a meal. Offer me another drink or ask if I need anything else, then ASK if I am ready for my check. Don't just throw a check at me when I am not ready and would have spent more money.

The service was 5 ☆☆☆☆☆!!!The food was maybe a 3.5. Really wanted to like it but the best thing we had was the spinach salad w/grilled chicken, the California chicken sandwich & Reuben were good but have had much much better. Fries & rings were limp.I think my biggest disappointment was my milkshake.it was like milk w/a banana smashed in it. I really wanted that milkshake on my cheat day.We will likely give them another shot by dining in instead of take out. I'll update review after that visit.

As a longtime fan of Green Day, I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for years. The bass player, Mike Dirnt, co-owns this restaurant. They have a small parking lot and street parking. They have an extensive menu. I like that their sandwiches had so many different side options choose from. I had Ruby's Rachel with a side of chili. The chili was a bit spicy. The sandwich was delicious and very filling. They also have a lot of different drink options - I had the Roy Rogers. They have a lot to look at around the restaurant including Barbie dolls and a vast array of stickers. As in relation to their name inspired by The Clash, they played punk music.

Awesome service! We love this place!

Only had the chocolate cake. It was good, not excellent. Out of the way shack like place that only has seating on the patio for now. Service was good.

Amazing food and atmosphere. I would highly recommend the Monte Cristo sandwich! The staff do not leave you waiting and it's a great experience.

Love the food quaint and cool atmosphere! Loved it! The young waitress was so sweet and kind.

Food was delicious. Pancakes were great. Burger? Great. Ranch homemade? So good. Expensive relative to other small diners.

I had huevos rancheros and a mimosa for breakfast. The food was fresh, presented well and was delicioso. ?

Picture this: you’ve just biked up & down the Bay Bridge. You legs are sore and your stomach is growling. Sure—you ~could~ go home and make food, but also you could make a left on Hollis and park your bike and have corned beef hash and an espresso milkshake ?
