Honestly, insulting - for the customer, the workers, and the owner. My partner and I got a slice of cheese (not standard on this menu so check to make sure you didn't order a half pizza) and a 1/2 cesar salad. The pizza was the same temp. as the salad... the sald and pizza had no flavor, everything was warm and greesey in the worst way. Service was bad (objectively and subjectively) and the price... my god the price... Charge a lot but also deliver a high quality product or experience; our bill was about 40$ for bad, irremediable pizza slices and the driest, most disgusting caesar you could eat in the East Bay.I know the pandemic screwed things up for a lot of people, but c'mon...this was bad in every way.
I hate to give a bad review...but to charge $49 for one pizza? $14 for one slice of plain cheese pizza? $20 for a small plastic container of salad? It would be one thing if the quality matched the price, but the dough lacked salt, the sauce was reminiscent of canned tomatoes, and the cheese was greasy. This place is very sadly over confident in their pizza. I will not come back and I'm shocked by how expensive this was for poor quality.
The food is not bad, but it’s way overpriced. A friend and I got a pizza, no drinks, and it was almost $50 with tip. The back seating area was kind of a mess, We asked if it was possible to turn on one of the outdoor heaters, but they did not work. I will probably not come back, but if you just want to try a new pizza place and you don’t care about the price, it tasted good.
Ordered the meat combo. it was the saltiest and greasiest pizza I've ever tasted. For almost $50 for the whole pizza, it was a big disappointment and a waste of money. You are better off going to Round Table.
Super yummy, meatball sub. Fab.Pizza good too. This 0laxe feels much more like a pizzeria now, less hole-in-the-wall, more deliciosa!
As a family of raccoons, we were happily surprised to find that it was in fact NOT rotten but fresh pizza. Our server and the staff were dressed a mutant ninja turtles and offered outstanding customer service. Although the food was pricey, it’s worth it!
Great pizza (one of my favorites in the East Bay) but the exorbitant prices prevent me from ordering. Even for a special treat it is hard to justify.
Honestly super confused why this place got such a high rating. The price is insane for stuff that tastes like it’s reheated. Really disappointed
Good pizza, small outdoor dining area.Kinda in the middle of nowhere but area seemed chill. I wish it was closer, I would go here more.
One of my favorite Bay Area pizzerias. This is coming from someone who's had the pleasure of eating pizza in NYC, Chicago, Boston, and Italy. Their pies are unique and delicious. A totally underrated Bday Area gem hidden in Emeryville.
