We visited the Mexican Restaurant Los Moles on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The place is clean with about two dozen tables and a bar and serve good quality authentic Mexican food. We selected Pollo En Mole Poblano Chicken , Veggie Ensalada de la casa and veggie grilled quesadilla with freshly made tortillas. The food was very tasty and the service very good.
This place used to have decent burritos, but now they are just stuffed with rice and beans with only a small amount of meat, cheese, and salsa. Far from good. The mole is still tasty though.I get that food prices have gone up. Just charge more. I'd rather pay $15 for a good burrito instead of $10 for a rice burrito.
My girlfriend and I just got food poisoning about an hour ago from Los Moles. I called to let them know so no one else would get sick. They implied I was lying, did not apologize, and told me they would not give me a refund until they checked with their insurance. We’ll see if that happens since they didn’t want to take down my info. Food was below average even before it made me throw up. Can’t recommend it.Update: They said I need a doctor note and a bill from the hospital to confirm I had food poisoning. I don’t even want a refund that bad. It’s just the right thing to do. She again said, “how can I believe you.” So rude to not even say sorry. Won’t be back and you should not go.
This is a great place for Mexican food. The service is good. They make you feel at home. Definitely try the moles. The chips and salsa are great.
Truly fantastic, authentic Mexican food. What a gem. I got the shrimp quesadilla this time. Their refried beans are to die for.

This is a true treasure in Emeryville! The service is great and very personal, they are very attentive. The food is delicious ?, so delicious I didn't even take any photos until dessert. We had tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and birra. Everything was delicious! My son was spoon feeding himself the quacamole, he loved it! I will definetly come here again!
Went in their on a Saturday place was pretty empty i send down for like 10 minutes waitress never came I had to call the waitress so we could get at least some drinks … food not good at all buffet not worth at all I don’t Recommend this place at all
