I say this in the nicest of ways but please contact the old owners and get the recipe for pizza and salad dressing. I did not realize it was under new ownership and it’s completely different. I would come here specifically for the salad because the herbal vinaigrette was phenomenal as were the pizza breadsticks. I just came in and ordered a whole pizza and salad and I got a pizza that was nothing like the old thing NY style pizza. And the salad came with a plastic packet of croutons and a packaged salad dressing instead of fresh made. At least change the name of the restaurant if you are going to have completely different products.
End of the night. The guy was ridiculously friendly and insured that he made my girl extremely happy with the freshest of ingredients and the most custom pizza made in even designed our pizza box lid with a personal drawing stylized with a bear going ham on that pizza box. Much appreciated. It was a hit 40 bucks for two people ain't that bad especially on the late night. We'll be back the next late night
Lanesplitter E-ville has gone through some tough times lately, but did make out the other side with a new owner that is desperately trying to make the business profitable again and bring back the pizza & pub vibe of the prepandemic era.The good news is that he kept the menu and is still making the classic East Bay favorite pies. The pies are still delicious and a good value overall but… the Green Stingray vegetarian pie is now too light on that delicious green pesto. I’ll just ask for heavy pesto next time so I’ll get the normal preparation I’m used to. Also, FYI you order online via Slice, not the Lanesplitter website.Looking forward to 23 new taps that are going in soon and hopefully being able to catch Warriors and A’s game there again while munching on pizza drinking reasonably priced draught IPA’s. Don’t fail me new Lanesplitter!!
Overall a terrible experience. The guy at the counter decided to call me “Pepper” instead of my actual name. My added chicken was left off my pizza. And the pizza was halfway cut and very soggy in the middle. Also It looks like the last time they deep cleaned the restaurant was before covid. Save yourself the money and aggravation. Please.
Food is usually yummy... when they make the order right!! It feels like every other time we order, some correction has to be re-made- to the point we check food before leaving. I'll never order them from an app again, because notes are always ignored and we have to wait delivery time for an order that's wrong more than right. This last order was especially frustrating, because when I called to clarify, I was hung up on after asking them to remake it.
Took over an hour with my online order and did not even prepare it until I came to pick it up. Cashiers were very rude.
This is some bomb pizza. Anything with roast garlic on top is a winner, esp the one with gorgonzola and bacon. Thin and flavorful crust, not too doughy.
I wanted to like this place because a friend brought us in after raving about the place. We had a cheese pizza and a meat combo from the menu. Both were dissappointing for us.
Good prices on everything. Good pizza etc. Basic, but really good.
This is one of my favorite pizza places out here.I got a 15 inch pizza last time I went cuz I was walking and it was easier to carry. That was a mistake. I ate the entire thing in like 20 minutes.I wasnt planning on eating that much but, I skipped lunch earlier and went into pizza goblin mode as soon as I started munching.Staff here is always very nice also.
