Great bartender, really good drinks….just a little pricy for the drinks though.

This restaurant was very understaffed, it was not the server’s fault at all.

Not the Chevy’s I remember. Really disappointing service. Waitress first approached table with “can I help you?” Which was a little awkward. Then she disappeared. Maybe it was her first day. Took 20 min for drinks to arrive and took 35 min for food to arrive. We never saw the waitress again. They were all out of guacamole, which is bad news in a Mexican restaurant. All of the tables around us were in the same boat, desperately trying to flag down anyone for service. It was super hard to even get the basics. We didn’t initially get water for 10 min after asking twice. We had to ask for place settings and napkins 3 times before they were brought. Food was decent, but witnessing the operations was really sad. I mean I guess they’re understaffed, but come on, where’s the manager?. Alfonso essentially took over our table at the very end, said he couldn’t find our server and brought my daughter some ice cream. He deserves kudos for taking initiative.

It was okay. The food took forever

They never gives any services and other came last give services

Horrible customer service Food cold and soggy Drinks melted to liquid

We were seated promptly and served in a timely manner. There were at least 3 servers, our main waitress who obtained our order, and two waiters brought the food. Our waitress helped us as soon as we were seated. The 3 fajitas were served quickly and sizzling as they're to be. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. Even though the alcohol drinks were a bit slow to arrive at our table they were made to our liking. Great Mezcal Margaritas. At least five employees sang the Birthday song as we were here celebrating one of our birthdays. Chevys is well known for this and they delivered. Just wish the place looked better as it is dated with low lighting which makes the place look run-down and somewhat dirty. Otherwise I recommend it as the place is lively and half the dining area overlooks the Bay, great views if one sits by the windows. We had reservations and I strongly recommend placing one as there were many waiting in the lobby. There's also plenty of free parking in front of the entrance and in the parking lots behind the building.

The food was good and met expectations. However the initial service was terrible. We made reservations and they acted like they didn’t expect us. They did not place or could not place us at a table that we requested and had to wait an additional 20 minutes. The table service was good. The restaurant was filthy! There was debris in the floor, the furniture was very worn and outdated. The tables were sticky. Probably the worst that I ever made for a reservation. I won’t be back!

Food was good, but service was strained. They must be understaffed. The place was a wreck, the server said they won’t serve table side guacamole because the avocados are bad, but we could have premade guacamole ; how’d they make the pre-made stuff (from the bad avocados)? Plus it took for ever for food and drinks to come out; and when it did they got the order wrong but we ate it anyway, who wants to starve? we had to ask the server, manager, other servers to get our food; the nice people next to us didn’t even get their food before ours, and we ordered after them; squeaky wheels that we are I guess. We won’t be back in spite of the water front venue and easy highway access.

Short staff, dirty tables, food was good overall. Sad to see how things have gone downhill.
