Giving this place 5 stars to encourage others to come visit. Do not come for a quick meal - even with a table of 2, entrees and one app, took over an hour to get food. It was worth the wait - authentic Japanese cuisine all the way.I will note that a fly died in my green tea that took a little while to be replaced.They have limited dine in hours right now.
The best Japanese restaurant in the area, bar none. Small space, so there's a wait for dinner sometimes.
First time here and it was some of the best Japanese food I have had in a very long time!! Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. This is a small family run restaurant, so not the best choice if you are in a hurry, but definitely worth the wait!
This place is an eating adventure. Freshness, flavor, eye appeal, absolute humility in the staff. This place doesn't mass produce it's food, it's all made to order, been coming here for about 5 years.Really Enjoy this humble abodes

Take out only. Dining room closed. Except for the table of 6 eating inside. Came from out of town, staying at a hotel. Excited to eat here based on reviews. NOPE!!
This restaurant is an absolute gem! The only thing better than the food was the service. Such a fantastic small business, with an eye on keeping things simple and fresh ingredients. We had a few sushi rolls and the Udon. Both were amazing. Even the tea was wonderful. We'll definitely be back! Thanks to our server and the chef!

The food is so good! We dined in and I really enjoyed the delicious high quality food. The one thing I'd recommend is, reserve your seat. The place is quite small, and doesn't seat many, so if you plan in, you pretty much have to reserve your seat in advance, or else there won't be a place for you. Other than that, I have take out too, so there are many options!
Family-owned restaurant that remembers their regulars (even with mask on!). Good prices for sushi and has all the standard Japanese dishes. Best sushi place in Elk Grove for me
