People were really nice here but the food to price ratio…. Ridiculous.I ordered what was the equivalent of a turkey melt with Swiss which is already a $17 meal and to add a basic iced tea was another $4. The tea tasted terrible and the sandwich was mediocre. On the other hand, it was the sticker shock of my one minor addition created!!I did ask them to add a bit of avocado to my meal, to which I got approximately 1/3 of small avocado just lopped on the sandwich middle…. There was no listing price for added avo on the menu that I was able to find but in no way expected what I got.And was charged $4.50 ?Ummmm, I could have bought a whole bag for that much!!!One THIRD for Four Fifty???By the time it added up, that mediocre meal cost me nearly $27.00To make matters worse, I used my own pen out of my work bag to sign my receipt and as I’m walking out the door, the cashier stops me to ask for my pen back!!! ??‍♀️ I had to go back to the register, in front of other waiting customers, and show him my pen to verify I wasn’t taking one of theirs.Sadly, I won’t be returning to this restaurant again soon.

First time trying out this restaurant, we were the 1st ones to arrive when they opened at 6 o'clock in the morning on Saturday. Our waitress was quick to come over to see if we needed anything and to get our drink orders started. She was also happy to answer my questions I questions about the different dishes. There is quite a good selection of menu items including a vegetarian menu. Shown here is a savory crepe dish that came with 2 sides, I chose hash browns and grits. My husband ordered the corn beef hash dish. Both of our meals were extraordinarily tasty and we will be happy to return soon to try more!

Wonderful staff! Delicious food! Will definitely be back ?

Amazing, amazing, and amazing. What a wonderful place to eat. Awesome staff and not only a hefty portion of food, but how wonderful it tasted. So much that I'm going to have an tasty supper to eat tonight. Thanks to Stagecoach, me and my lady will definitely be back for more. Can't wait for the next yummy plate of food next visit. ???

Today was by far the worst experience I had with this establishment. I have been going here for over 10 years and I have seen the change in staffing and I am highly disappointed that they have strayed away for that nice homely feel. Today Jackson wearing the white shirt was very crude and passive aggressive and that is no way to treat a paying customer or anyone for that matter. He is a horrible representation of what is a great place normally. I get it that it is busy but in no way should you cut people off when talking or dismiss something a customer is asking for. All because I asked for utensils with my to go order. Also I waited 10 minutes on the phone but I was driving over and then when I ordered that gentleman was sweet but then they forgot about me and I asked Matt to check in my order and he went and got. He was nice and professional. Hot links were different today and of pork when I know they used different ones which were beef. Either way it was undercooked and gritty. All Jackson had to say was oh well it’s the same meat we have been using for 35 years. I left my name and number for the manager to call me and we shall see the outcome.

Delicious and amazing long time establishment in Elk Grove. They have traditional diner food to fun weekend specials. I was a big fan of the chilaquiles and also the Nutella cremes were very tasty and well prepared. Locals and visitors should certainly come here!

My husband and I went to have breakfast at Stagecoach. We asked for brown home style potatoes and when we received our plates the potatoes were not even cooked. My husband asked for his eggs over extra easy, and they were over medium to medium well, and my eggs Benedict I asked for just the the opposite poached medium well to well and my eggs were runny. One of the wait staff said they could comp half the cost since we did not even eat it. We said okay yes please. Comp it then they withdrew that option. And we paid $39. and something for our order. We were extremely disappointed with our service and our food.

great place food service #1

I was so wonderfully surprised by this restaurant. The decor is very cozy - sort of a country-Western themed local diner. Service was warm, friendly, and efficient. The staff and customers all seemed really happy and comfortable. Locally owned too.Now for the food. As a mostly-vegan, I figured I'd be stuck with hash browns and a fruit bowl, or have to make an exception for some eggs. Wow was I wrong! Sitting in the middle of the menu was a dedicated vegetarian/vegan menu! Vegan skillet! Veggie Benedict with vegan option! Vegan burger! Loaded french fries with vegan chipotle mayo! The food came out and it was all really delicious, fresh, and filling.Basically, Elk Grove is pretty tough for vegans at breakfast time. This place is a gem. Even better - all the other meat & eggs options looked delicious for any omnivores in your group.

First time at this location . Felt like we were being looked over. I was getting ready to call the front cashier to ask for service. Food was ok, but the food at the Florin location was better and more choices
