Service was pretty slow but our waiter was very attentive & got all of our extensive order correct.Food in our opinion was very good. I had the Buzzin Chicken sandwich with a few add on’sVery good. Chicken was tender & juicy !AllOf our apps were good &’my daughter loved the mini corn dogs
I'm a fan of Red Robin's in general. I've been to them from Northern California to Southern California and even in Nevada. This one in Elk Grove was just OK....service was so so. Milkshakes came long after our food. I beleive our server had outright forgotten them. Burgers were decent not as good as they can be. In general Red Robin's is a family friendly sit down affair. My experience here could be just an off day. I would give them another chance.
Buns on hamburger were stale and food was a little cool . Fried onion rings and fried pickles were over cooked …… very disappointing
If you download the Red Robin app one of your Bonuses is you get a free Burger, well I was perusing the menu for which Burger I was going to have and I noticed that they had fish-and-chips, so on my next visit I tried the F&C and I must say must say they are now my favorite restaurant for fish-and-chips I have been getting my fish-and-chips from Ocean fish-and-chips on Elk Grove boulevard ever since they opened, Jimboy's tacos had occupied the building before they moved closer to highway 99 on Elk Grove Boulevard. Yes I eat at gym boys also. And I will still go to Ocean F&C cause they are good but Red Robin is closer to my home and very competitively priced. Oh by the way if you've ever had the stack of onion rings from Red Robin I think you'll agree with me they're the best ?, ever.
It has been a decade since I last ate at a Red Robins before I moved here. I loved our Red Robin down in Valencia, burgers were awesome fries as well. At Elk Grove we were disappointed. The burgers were nothing special (blue cheese), and the fries were warm, unseasoned, and bland. Our server was awesome, friendly, helpful, no complaints there. Just won't go back again.
The food is tasty and reasonably priced, but the wait time for a pickup order is always way longer than quoted even at non-peak times so order about 45 minutes before you want to pick it up and be prepared to possibly wait a little bit for it even after that. Staff always seem super busy so it's likely due to a labor shortage. Never been in to eat so I can't speak to the sit down experience.
Good burgers, excellent staff. One suggestion, get a new cleaning crew
Went here with the family after baseball, very nice experience. Staff was friendly, food and drinks came out quickly, and all was good. The fondue burger was very good. Nothing special about the actual fondue dipping sauce for fries, but the burger itself was superb. Cooked exactly how I requested. Kids ate all their food and we were in and out in 30ish minutes.
Haven’t been to Red Robin since before the Pandemic . I must say the food and the service were equally matched . My Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the excellent service we received
The Elk Grove restaurant just don't seem to be trying anymore. Got takeout--the ten-minute late burger was fine, but the fries were terrible. I began eating them right when I left the parking lot. They were room temperature, soft and undercooked, obviously old, and even unseasoned. Heated them up and salted them at home to see if they'd be good enough, but just tossed them. Ate the ok burger and that's it. I supported this place during the last two years, but I can't do it anymore. This is the second time in a row that I've been given old food for takeout and all done wasting my money.
