My nephew ordered the grilled pork banh mi and I had the "thit nguoi" and we both liked their thit nguoi more. I asked for drink recommendations and ended up ordering the Artichoke drink which was surprisingly ok. ?I love the decor and location of the restaurant.
We ordered bread, drinks, desserts, and snack for 2 people. It was pretty good, the atmosphere is nice, the place is clean, and they have a place to check in. 1 star off for uneven distribution of pickle and meat in the bread
I was surprised by their drink and dessert selection; it’s really good! The banh mi’s are available on baguette, croissant, or bun with multiple meet selections. Everything was delicious and affordable. The venue has a modern/ chic decor with a warm overall feeling. Really glad to have Paris Banh Mi in Elk Grove. Thanks!-Anthonyxibarrax
All I got to say is stop looking and go try it. I get the grilled pork sandwich and everything is fresh and delicious the place has a very nice vibe. The inside is very clean. The drinks are refreshing, I get the honey lemon ice tea is my favorite. They also have pastries and cheesecake. Go and give them a try you won't be disappointed.
Looks are definitely deceiving here unfortunately. The restaurant aesthetics and looks are definitely there for your social media and whatnot, but the food and drink are a bad miss.The sandwiches ($6.50 each) definitely taste off. Too much of one fragrant seasoning or poorly cooked meat is what we tasted. Almost like a pungent licorice taste. Pastries ($3 each) were also bland and off. Cinnamon roll had very little sweetness and same with the custard filled. Tasted like Hunts pudding in a pastry. Pateso pastry was good though, definitely enjoyed the meatball in it, but unfortunately that was the only thing we enjoyed.Our drink also lacked sweetness and didn't even give us an option to sweeten or modify the level. Overall very bland. Drink also took 20 minutes to receive.Recipes definitely need improving and the food while looking great on the outside are really sad or lazily cooked. The meat in our sandwiches don't even taste grilled, but more like stewed or braised.2 stars for cleanliness and looks of the restaurant. Also positive was that our sandwiches were made fast and service was friendly. The bathroom was very clean and there is nice art on the walls and around.
This place is really good. The sandwiches are cheap and the vibe in there is pretty cool.
Great banh mi place Multiple delicious cheesecake slices to choose from And their grilled pork banh mi is very very tasty as well as their Taro slush ??
Finally some Banh mi in elk grove. teas are great as well
Ordered two sandwiches, shredded chicken with extra cilantro and jambon both without pate. The chicken was dry, but the jambon was quite tasty. Clean restroom but we had to wait 20 minutes for our sandwich!! That’s way too long, especially since there’s plenty of people working, almost too many because they were kinda bumping into each other. Also, they need to streamline the flow as once people order they are standing around wherever there’s space, thankfully quite a number of people were wearing masks. The tables were kinda dirty, we took our sandwiches to go, but as we were waiting for our food we were sitting at a table, there was a little girl sitting alone, apparently she was one of the workers child, she would walk from the table to the food area, not sure this is safe yet alone sanitary.
Welcome to the neighborhood. I'm always in search for good banh mi sandwiches and boba drink. I haven't tried their banh mi sandwiches yet but Boba is really good. I would recommend lychee and strawberries boba. It's refreshing and good for summer days. Next on my list to try is artichoke drink. They also sell desserts and other candies,And this place has lots of parking and next to bad bakers.I love their Paris decorations inside the store. Great place to take boba pictures.
