Went here due to the reviews and was not disappointed. The minestrone soup was the most amazing I’ve ever had. The taste was so amazing. I got the Chicken Marsala with capellini noodles and pesto Alfredo sauce which was different from what I had expected but was sooooooooo good the sauce from both was awesome. My husband had one of the specials which the sausage in the meat was great. I strongly recommend going if you love Italian food or even if you don’t the FOOD IS AMAZING.
I can't rave enough about the food and service here. I was in town twice in May and did a Google search and found this place. Just WOW! Veal parm was outstanding, great Caesar salad and they have plenty of wine (a must). Giovanni (the chef) came out and talked to me for 15 minutes. This is a family owned restaurant and they put their heart and soul into everything they do. This is my "go to" Italian restaurant when I'm in Sacramento and surrounding locales!! I guarantee you'll go home satisfied.
The food and service were amazing. Was our first time here, and we'll be back!
We were seated relatively quickly however after waiting a good 15 minutes without any employee contact decided to eat somewhere else.
Really enjoyed this place. Great tasting food full of so many wonderful flavors. The owner is hands on here, he even took the time to come to our table and tell us a little story about his first time tasting rootbeer. We will be back for sure. Looking forward to trying other dishes but you can't go wrong with the chicken Parmigiana and spaghetti in meat sauce.
Best Italian and most is cooked from scratch. Make room for dessert because you'll love every course of your meal. No, I have no ties to Palermo but every time I dine in, the food taste is deliciously consistent.
I came for a friend's birthday and there was a Sea Bass Puttanesca for their special. It was such a delicious and light choice. It was also a huge plate that also came with scallops. I would definitely recommend!
Tucked away in a small shopping area in Elk Grove is this family owned slice of Italian wonderfulness! We experienced fabulous food, and timely service. They have an ala- carte menu and full bar too. The Linguine Taormina was a tasty treat and hubby had his favorite Veal Parmigiana, that he declared was the very best. Can't wait to go back and try another of their great dishes.
Love that this place is family owned. The bus boys were great.Albiet it was busy, our server was unwelcoming, and was rushing to put our drink order in... then forgot my daughter's drink at the bar till half our meal was over. The server needs to slow down, be more welcoming... when you rush a job thats when mistakes get made. The food was amazing; there were 6 of us we all had different dishes and were super happy with them. A man who seemed to be the owner stopped by to greet us with a happy smile.I recommend stopping in.
This restaurant is hard to beat for great real Italian food. The service is good and it is best to make reservations for weekend dining, because it will be busy. We have become regulars and when we have visitors from out of town this restaurant is always on their agenda.
