Great food y service professional people work
Oz Korean BBQ in Elk Grove, California has high quality meats and vegetables which you barbeque yourself on a grill that is set in the center of the table. Short ribs were our favorite. I liked the mussels and the cheesy corn that comes in aluminum cups. Friendly servers. There is a 2 hour limit and the server gave us extra time. The grill pans are changed out frequently. There is a military and birthday discount. There can be a long wait to get a table.
This place is pretty popular so be prepared to wait 15 to 20 minutes. The food smells so good out side of the restaurant and lures you in. They have good seating and a bar. ( Good strong drinks ) The staff will take your order of meats you want to eat and then light the grill. They bring you sides of vegetables, rice, Korean style dishes and your meat. You cook the meat on the grill yourself. This place has good ambiance and is a favorite spot of Elk Grove, Ca.
For my friends birthday, we made a reservation. All we were told is there had to be a minimum of 7 to book. The first two people showed up to check us in and then we were informed if the party was so many minutes late that our reservation would be cancelled or for those who didn't show up would get turned away. The last people that arrived at the party were 8 mins late but it would have been nice to know the restrictions and how strict they were for reservations. The food was amazing. The flavoring and options for sauces and appetizers were great. I would definitely go again to eat.The service was decent. They provided us everything we needed but were not as attentive at the end with the check and closing out. Even though they gave us a strict time limit of being there, some of our food did take a while to get served.
Much better then last time really enjoy the atmosphere and food is delicious
We always have a great time & delicious meal here. Can't forget the drinks either! This place is so much fun & K-pop up on the big screens is a bonus as well.
Good food great atmosphere… just pricey
The food, ? oh my. We always start with appetizers like the sweet chili wings, pot stickers and garlic fries. Then we feast on chadol, rancho galbi, sesame beef in addition to the regular and spicy bulgogi. It’s bbq, eat, repeat ? Dont even get me started on dessert, they are simply a work of art. Our servers are attentive even if the place is (always) packed and there’s a long line of people waiting. Family get togethers whether we are celebrating birthdays or just wanting to enjoy Korean bbq are always a treat especially at Oz KBBQ. A definite 10/10
Used to go here every month for kbbq fix. BUT recently quality has gone down significantly, serving sizes are a lot smaller now, prices has gone up.They charge for extra lettuce for $2.50 for 7 pcs of lettuce. LOL.Will probably give it another go but if quality keeps going down, serving size keeps getting smaller WHILE raising the prices then Ill go to another kbbq place.
Oz was an excellent experience for us when we went past week!We went during dinner for the all you can eat menu- each of the meats were flavored really well. The appetizers we got were the pot stickers, sweet chili wings, and the garlic fries- overall flavored well and good rating. We got mostly all pork and beef items, all of them tasted good and went well with the various sauces and sides they had (as pictured)! The only reason for the 4/5 stars was because of our server who took over 10 mins to take our drink order and was just delayed with any request we had. However, we will definitely be back for the food!
