As far as barbecue goes, this is decent. I moved to Sacramento from Dallas and was hoping to find a good BBQ joint. While this will do in a pinch, it doesn't taste as good as I had hoped given the reviews. The pork was on the dry side and the ribs had an off taste to it. The sausage was decent, if a little on the overcooked side. The sauce also had a slightly bitter or burnt taste.I'll give this place another try at a later date, but my first impression wasn't the greatest.
We decided to try several things and unfortunately hands down the best part of the meal was the baked beans. I was hoping the meat options were a little better.Tri-tip, brisket, chicken, and the three types of sausages they have had no flavor. The pulled pork wasn't bad but nothing worth going back for. The bread rolls were dry and the rice and beans I could even eat.The service was pretty bad too. Waited for 20 minutes for food I had ordered a few hours ago, and staff was pretty rude.
XL family meal, 3 meats and 4 sides! Absolutely delicious!!!
Really not a fan of this place. Their potato salad taste like it came from Walmart. The ribs still have the membrane on. Neither the chicken nor the brisket were cooked long enough because the fat was not rendered in the slightest. Some of the chewiest and dryest brisket I've ever had.
I ordered a combo with 4 meats including a "1/2 chicken" which is on their menu as one of the options. They only gave me a tiny piece of chicken breast that is falling apart. The dark meat is missing. Even the chicken breast itself is small. This is actually 1/8 chicken instead of 1/2 chicken. This place is a scam and rip-off. Customers, don't be fooled. Stay away from them.
Today was the 1st time trying this place. The cashier did a horrible job of explaining the sauces, sides, ect.The food was ok..... lacked flavor very dull. The pulled pork and tri tip were juicy but it didn't have flavor. Will not be going back.
First time going here but heard were top rated for their BBQ so went there an it was good. Great friendly staff to help you on the menu items makes suggestions an even lets you try a small sample if ask. I recommend if going for the first time, check out menu on line before ordering cause it can be hard to decide to add it put as a combo menue.Tap beers or a cold bottle type. Table service, tv playing sports. Place to bring kids, family, or yourself. Will go again.
Ordered two meals, bbq sauce was over sweet and seemed to be overcooking In a warmer. Ribs were oily like they were boiled. Bone in chicken was greasy with chewy skin. Bbq sauce was so bad my dog didn't even care to eat the disguarded food. Waste of $50
Good 'cue, excellent service. We haven't been before, so the staff helped us select our meals and couldn't have been more friendly. We'll be back.
Great food. Great service. We have ordered from them many, many times. Never had a bad meal. Their bbq is really good.
