Surprisingly good! They have a large variety of food. Actually their name is misleading because they have so much variety and subs are a small part of their menu. We ordered some subs, grilled sourdough sandwiches, and Tika Masala with Channa Masala. They gave large portions and everything was delicious!
Really enjoyed the food here. Service was good food came out fast. Would definitely enjoy coming here for lunch if i lived close by.
My boyfriend and I have been here a few different times now and have yet to be disappointed. We have tried the turkey bacon sandwich, a bacon cheeseburger, chicken burrito, chicken teriyaki, and some tacos and all of it has been amazing. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable for what you receive. Also, the restaurant is SO clean! My only issue is trying to decide what to order off the HUGE menu! This place has definitely become a local favorite!!
Jimmy's use too be delicious when he was there in person Working at old location.... Now in Elk Grove DON'T PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR $$ I've tried this location 2 times & today was enough.... Food was VERY GREASY & BURNT. I ORDERED FISH an ? AN EGG ROLLS was $ 19.40. THROWED in Garbage. McDonald's is better. I called to talk to mg. an was told didn't have one available... I ask what's there NAME i was told rudely CAN'T give out his NAME. I wouldn't go back if it was ""FREE "" BUT I WILL LET JIMMY KNOW THEIR DESTROYING HIS GOOD NAME YUP
Prices went up…recipes changed…menu changed :( not as good as before. Pretty sure they're under new management and new ownership. They were able to keep the customers and the name but I think they'll start to lose them because of all the changes. Really too bad. Loved Jimmy's, miss you!
The curry chicken is to die for, literally! I came back three days in a row just to order every level of heat, because it was that good. I tried the sandwiches, by which the restaurant is known for, but it doesn't compare to their hot plates! I actually would prefer a Subway sandwich over theirs and that's saying something, because I don't eat from Subway. Also, the chicken tenders basket was a waste of money. It's literally Tysons chicken out of the frozen section warmed up. I could've saved money if I knew it wasn't real meat.In addition, I guess the owner was helping out because of short staff I guess. He clearly didn't know what he was doing, yet he was very friendly and did offer us military discount. However, as I came there repeatedly, the young lady said, you can't use military discount for every meal in the same day. I have never heard of such policy before ?, so yep, that was my last meal there. However, the service was great. They even stayed opened 5 minutes late one night when I had a call in, so I guess I could go back. But I'm curried out at this point. The teriyaki plate is also good... There are so many options to choose from, so be sure to choose wisely, or go ahead and choose them all
The food was decent, but it is over priced. For average food.
Turkey, Bacon, Avocado is great. The bread was the softest freshest I've ever had from any sub shop! Big thick style French fries.. GO TRY THIS PLACE!!
First time I've been to this place and it was pretty awesome. BBQ steak sandwich was good and service was warm and welcoming. Would come here again
Been looking for a mom and pop restaurant like this since I moved to this area and I’m glad I found this place. Their subs are really good but Iately I’ve been loving their chicken curry and tika with rice. Always clean inside and very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
