Best sushi place in Elk Grove hands down. Great prices, great service and the highest quality food we've had.
This was our 2nd time going, the food is good but the service sucks. Both times the sushi came out at the very end after all the other food, when everyone was already done eating. How do you have almost all your staff making sushi but the sushi is the very last thing to come out? I would understand if it was busy but both times it was super slow, there were 3 tables at most. They gave us our bill & we paid before we ever got the sushi, my husband had to ask for his to go. They have a “now hiring” sign, I don’t think they need more staff, just more efficient staff. Sucks because I really wanted to love this place.
I've been to every branch of crazy Sushi...they have 3. ..so I've had the same dishes made by different people a few times and I always try to order something new along with my favorites. The sushi here was not that great to be honest, it was packed with rice that did not taste fresh or well cooked at that....the sides were great as usual. Miso soup tasted watered down, we were so bothered that we asked why our rolls had so much rice....
My girls & I have been here approximately 15x over those times we've had awesome service & a few of the times were never checked on once the food came. I can say the food is consistent & very clean & you can watch them prepa your food. I have lived everything we've gotten from here & out of the six of us only one would say she has other places that are her favorites. For the price I think it's great.
I absolutely love coming in for our annual lunch and enjoying delicious food and drinks. Personally I love the sake bombs.. gotta try it!!!
Food preparation took an hour , Seafood udon doesn't have all the seafood as advertised only 1 shrimp! OMG!!! This place is disappointing. Food isn't even worth the wait.. might as well cook Ramen at home or go somewhere else. You'll get to eat cheaper plus a lot more delicious.
I liked the food, but the tea was Luke warm and you have to ask for refill otherwise, they will ignore you. All plates served to us were chipped. Unacceptable.I don't have to come back here anymore.
Clean, Clean, Clean!!Great and best service!!!Best Japanese Restaurant in town.Fish was fresh and great presentation!.At most other Japanese restaurants, my husband and I get very disappointed always, by how they cook the rice. The rice is hard & dry, not cooked all the way.But, Crazy Sushi cooked rice perfectly!Thank you, Crazy Sushi!We had a great dinner!
I had the crazy roll. I thought the sushi was okay....more cooked ingredients inside than the fish itself than I originally imagined. California roll was good though. I liked that the restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere and décor inside is nice.
Alex and the crew took care of us good. No disappointment at all from the Crazy Boat we ordered.They were short handed as everyone is right now, but the staff did an amazing job and team effort of taking care of all the guests.Always a great visit!
