Unfortunately after being a happy and very satisfied customer for many years, I have found myself disappointed in this restaurant recently. Had the halibut a few visits ago and it was overcooked and had the consistency of being previously frozen. A new halibut dish was on the menu tonight with herb gnocchi and it sounded delicious. It wasn't. It was overcooked again with the same consistency of being previously frozen. On top of that I was given a pittance of 2 1/2 gnocchi and less than one spoonful of fresh vegetables. It was, frankly, insulting. $42 down the drain. On top of that I was in the mood for oysters and ordered a half dozen on the menu. They were extremely small and lukewarm. Maybe that's on me for not asking how big they were, but the last time I had oysters there they were larger and served on ice. So, long-winded way of saying I spent $69 for low quality food that didn't even fill me up. I am just not used to this from this restaurant. Maybe part of it is the current inflationary environment we're in, but man, if you're going to charge more you need to at least deliver. They haven't lately for me. And now I doubt I will give them another shot on any seafood items. Maybe the pork chop bc that takes real work to mess up. Sad.
Best bistro in California by far. You have to experience it to understand. These guys don’t play around. Also their own brew on tap and fine wines as well. Definitely taking my lovely lady here again. Highly recommended

Delicious food! I had the Oysters and Seared scallops. Wife had the Bone Marrow and Salmon. We shared a wedge salad. The food was cooked to perfection. This is definitely Elk Groves top tier restaurant.
Duron and Bret and the wonderful crew provide the best experience to all who dine at Boulevard Bistro. Bret is so creative in his awesomely delicious menu and Duron is the best at ensuring an unbeatable dinner time.

When in Elk Grove, definitely try Boulevard Bistro - they is possibly the best restaurant in town. The pork chop while delicious as were all dishes from my colleagues. Top notch and not too pricey for the quality of food that you get. Great service as well!
We love this place! Last night we celebrated our 10 year anniversary. First let’s just say the service is over the top! We started with the deviled eggs with smoked salmon. Best version of the deviled eggs I’ve tried here. They always have them and each time there’s a lil twist to how they are prepared. Last night’s was the best for me. We enjoyed the yummy wedge salad and had the special which was swordfish in a lemon caper sauce and their regular menu item the filet mignon. Yes, we licked our plates! Finished the evening with the best dessert ever, croissant bread pudding with a lemon curd sauce and fresh pressed Italian coffee.
