Bamboo Inn | Chinese Restaurant

Very greasy and very unhealthy, first and last time ordering from this unsanitary place. When ordering at the register they had uncooked meat just sitting there uncover and raw. I don't think the people that goes to this place knows anything about real Chinese food they're just eating whatever comes without even noticing unsanitary condition's the food has been through. I know they can feel it and smell it after the body has digested all the toxics that the unhealthy food produces in the body.

Recommend but with reservations. Ordered a few dishes to go. Most were delicious but one. The eggplant in garlic sauce was awful. Total mush and absolutely SATURATED in oil. I rinsed it later to hopefully freshen it up but nope. It was horrible and I actually threw it out which is unheard of for me. Also didn’t receive any utensils so we had to stop elsewhere to get forks, napkins, etc. (We had already been on the road so couldn’t go back). Anyway - just FYI....

Great place to enjoy some delicious orange chicken and chicken chow mein. I ordered veggie rolls on the side, even though it was burned, yet crunchy and delicious. Quick service and friendly staff.

Rude Chinese lady working the desk and floor. Got the dinner for 2. Chicken was good however their Mongolian beef is terrible. I don't think its beef and offcourse half the plate is onions. Not spicy at all either. Chicken fried fricecwas good and so was the wonton. I'm from out of town and try to do chinese food always but the people working these places are rude and have no fricken etiquette and makes me think twice before I spend another dime

It's the best food in town. They always take good care of us when come to have dinner. They de bone the fish for my son and always looks for the fish with eggs for him.

I ordered delicious Mongolian beef rice plate. Clean place, plates were not chipped, hot tea was really the way it's supposed to be. HOT! Love this place. Come and check it out.

The food is decent. Taste better when eaten fresh on the spot. For some reason I don't like it reheated from this particular restaurant. The woman running the front is actually really rude, she was slamming things around because it was 9:01 and we were still packing our food up. She came back to the table and slammed the ticket and reciept down and said "we close at 9" no "thank u you" or nothing. Also the soup the gave us has peas and carrots that were undercooked and our rice and sweet and sour chicken were cold in certain places so we had to have them remade. On a positive note the Chowmain and egg rolls were the best ? sorry for the long review, if you made it this far.. I guess give it a try if it's local, don't drive for this.To the owner/server or cashier that was rude, be kind to people, the stress and tension caused by you ruined my dinner and caused me to be upset which in turn made my stomach upset.. all you had to do was say you guys were closing soon and we would have gladly picked up and left, we didn't know we were an inconvenience to you.

IMHO, the food is really bland. Even spicy dishes didn't quite hit the mark. Also, this may be petty, but 6 of us ordered dinner B for 5. There was more than enough food but an appetizer was prawns, 5 prawns. Come on folks, toss in another prawn.

Use to love eating here, the food has gone down hill.I guess they have new cooks.Nothing evertastes good here anymore.Sad I gotta find new Chinese food restaurant to eat at. The last time I went they served OLD food.I mean you could literally taste it.They microwaved it cause the top was steaming hot and the bottom was cold,and the food tasted spoiled. They are on my do not return list.

Giving 1 star so far just based on customer service. 1st time ever here after living in Elk Grove for over 10 years. The woman taking my order seemed bothered that I was asking about menu items. I continued on to order and spent $39 total. I hope the food is as good as the hype because the customer service was horrible.
