It's good and guys the spot when you're cravings want Hawaiian BBQ. They don't allow substitutions, but that's their rule. The staff is polite. The prices are not accurate in the pictures online, I think the prices are nearly double.
Had the Maui Shrimp. I was very pleased. Huge tasty Shrimp with lots of veggies. Major helping size as expected.
Wow!!! I don't think I will come back to this place anymore, because of the PRICE. Same amount of food, but 50% increase on all items. Yet none of the menu on the website get updated. I understand that everything goes up. But come on....I will definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone anymore.
I was able to order the special which included chicken, rice, macaroni salad and veggies (cabbage, carrots and a little broccoli). The teriyaki sauce comes on the side.
The meat was low quality with a good amount of fat and hard cartilage. The teriyaki sauce didn't really taste like anything.
First impressions, I got there at the opening time. The casher was rude and told me they wherent open because the chef as late. Food is alright but I don't think I'll be coming back.
The price of most plates went up 50% . This place is simply not worth it anymore.
Fresh food. Pretty good taste. Relatively clean store. One of my personal slights is that the Katsu (sauce) is too spicy. I didn't think Katsu sauce is even supposed to be spicy.4 stars.
food used to be $12.50 just a month ago. now is $17.50, a $5 dollar jump in price for the same plate? not a dolar or a couple of bucks more, no, $5 bucks. they just lost a customer. and I used to refer alot of my coworkers. but not anymore. i understand food prices are higher, but not almost 50% more.
I've probably ordered the Curry Chicken Katsu +30 times... and I'd make it 50 if I was still in Cali. Portions are huge and well worth the price.
