I used to live in the Ventura county area and never got a chance to visit the Habit until recently. The original Habit burger joint is in Santa Barbara but we visited the El Segundo location. For a chain burger place the prices were reasonable and the burgers were huge. We got the regular char burger meal and a portobello char burger with sweet potato fries. Loved the burgers & fries. I especially loved that they offer a pepper bar, stocked with yellow chili peppers, jalapeños, and peperoncinis. Yum. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy a decent burger.
The tempura spicy green beans were amazing and perfection. I would come back again just for those! The burger I had was good. I generally rate a great burger on the quality of the meat, and the burger patties here are just a standard patty. Nothing crazy different about them. So if you are looking for a decent burger with amazing tempura green beans, this is a great option.
I go there at least once a week. The kids chicken has gotten better! Keep up the good work!
I really enjoyed this burger. I have found a new burger place for me to visit. They have really good onion rings, and green beans. Good size burger.Try it and let me know what you think.
The food was good. Restaurant wasn't as clean as it should have been. The girl that was making the shakes kept just placing them on the counter in front of other people that were picking up other orders. Allowing them to breathe on peoples drinks.
Beef patties tasted like they were thawed and frozen again, wasn't fresh, French Fries were good. Overall I'll try again maybe I'll get a better tasting Burger. I give it 4 stars cuz customer service is very good.
Was not too happy ordered well done both burger and fries....neither was well done but closer to rare. Ended up tossing it out after one bite ...way too rare for me. And not how I ordered it...unfortunately it was a to go order and didn't realize this until I was back at work and going back to complain was not an option.
went to try brussell sprouts, guess they were a bit under done. also, wasted time putting in orders and found out could not transfer orders to registers - must pay with cc or ? not posted before wasted time - even though employee we talked to at register did not mention requiremts - mcdonalds has it over habit.nice that you had good barqs root beer mix, got the portabella charburger no onions nor tomato on sourdough, felt like not enough mushrooms. sweet potatoe fries, and a cinnamon something shake. i was not told the cinnamon barks had paper on the barks? kept having to remove as it delivered cinnamon, but not the best experience.
I Got received a ticket for a free burger from the Habit Burger Grill, so after work I headed to the closest place and they said your ticket has been use. And didn't validate my ticket. Why give a use ticket. Or not Validate a ticket that the franchise gives out.
That veggie burger is damn good, I been staying away from meat for a lil while but this is worth it
