The sandwiches tasted amazing, but the prices were astronomical. The prices listed on the menu in their shop are the same as currently in the pictures (~$12), but I was charged about $2 more per sandwich than was advertised in addition to a tip.I plan on going back, but not anytime soon.
Ike's has the best tasting vegan and vegetarian sandwiches and options. It's a fun place to eat and make orders off the menu. There are so many fantastic names for the sandwiches, and the experience is friendly. It's a little on the pricey side, but it's worth the cost. I go there as a treat to myself. When you go, tell them Omar sent you.
Vegan meatballs? Absolutely spectacular! The texture was spot on for hamburger, the marinara was the perfect tangy, the perfect amount of lettuce! I don't know what alien science was used to perfect this but I definitely wish they were local to me.Staff was friendly, service was fast, and the restaurant was clean. I couldn't ask for more.
If you've never eaten here before, the sandwiches and their names are so unique that, you must read the menu to figure out what to order. These are not traditional sandwiches and provide something different and healthful for hungry palettes.
Ikes is legendary sandwiches. Super tasty and flavorful. I had the screaming eagle. Chicken fried steak was crisp and well seasoned. My friend had the Meatless Mike and was very impressed also.
I love the vegetarian / vegan options! I got the meatless mike and it was super tasty! Was able to sample some other vegan meats and they were phenomenal!Def coming back here!
Fast and friendly customer service with unique signature sandwiches like the Marshawn Lynch. The sandwiches are good with available variety of chips for purchase as a separate item. Bay Area fave is in SoCal and not missed a beat.
Update: after further inspecting the sandwich, I found a SECOND piece hair. I tried to call the business but no one answered the phone and the mailbox was full. Gross!I went to this place after it was recommended by a few of my coworkers. Before I eat my food, I tend to look at the various components of whatever I’m eating. I just found the longest piece of hair in my food (shown in pictures below). It wasn’t just on the sandwich, it was embedded in the pickles and cheese. This grossed me out so badly. This was my first and last time trying this place out. Someone needs to put on a hairnet! I could vomit. My stomach turned because I had already finished half of the sandwich. ??
Best sandwiches in the South Bay. Order almost once a week from here through door dash. Great gluten free bread too. Our favorite sandwiches are Backstabber, Madison Bumgarner, Damon Bruce, Screaming eagle.The dutch crunch bread is so unique and a must have when you order.The gluten free bread is also great.
From the bay to LA, the love is there. Some employees could use some professional development but that’s not to take away from the fire sandwiches they make. I ordered the Matt Cain and Madison Bumgarner, I enjoyed the Matt Cain more.Update : I tried the MENAGE A TROIS, 5/5
