It was a amazing experience at Calo Kitchen & Tequila. The food and our waiter was amazing. The detail to service was amazing. We set outside to enjoy the weather. The chips & salsa was tasty. We also received refried beans with the chips while we waited for our food. I had the Shrimp And Crab Enchiladas, and my two other guest ordered the Famous Carnitas tacos, Short Rib Enchiladas and guacamole. The food tasted fabulous…It was worth every penny.
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to find a nice new place to dine. I came across Calo on Yelp and we decided to give it a try. Upon our arrival, we were promptly greeted and seated at a table in the outdoor dining area. The decor and the overall ambience was very nice. Our server was so friendly and attentive. Initially she took our drink orders and put the order in. She returned with chips, salsa and our drinks shortly after taking the drink order. Then she promptly took our appetizer & entree orders, she explained that the appetizer and entree order would be adequately spaced so they wouldn't all come at the same time. And just as she promised, our orders came out like clockwork. The food was delicious!I told the server that we were celebrating our anniversary and she gave us well wishes, then returned with complimentary glasses of champagne for both of us. We were so appreciative! Then to top it off, she even brought us out a complimentary dessert with a card that all of the staff had signed. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves and appreciated the exceptional customer service. We will definitely be back again!
My family and I had such a great experience in this restaurant. The food was amazingly delicious!! From the appetizers to the main course, there was not one thing that we didn't like. The flavors all echoed each other and the portions were generous. Don't even get me started on the drinks!! They were some of the most delicious margaritas I've ever tasted!!Even though my family and I arrived pretty late at night for dinner, the service was still exceptionally accommodating and very friendly. I was so appreciative of the way the staff was patient and attentive to us.I 10000% recommend this place to everyone!!Y sí!! Hablan español!!
It's very rare when I'm impressed with the incredible service at a restaurant and I have to say this was one of those instances. Our waitress Angelica went above and beyond to make sure that we were fully satisfied with everything that we ordered. We got both potato and shrimp taquitos, pineapple and pork tacos, short rib enchilada, and elote. As food started to come out, each dish was better than the other. I was truly fascinated by how delicious the food tasted and how well the presentation was done. The portions were also very big and shareable. I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone who loves Mexican food with a modern twist. I will definitely be back to try some more items.
Came here on Saturday Night around 8 p.m. There was a 45-minute wait without reservation. They served chips, salsa, and beans to start. The chips were okay. I got a citywide stale ones. Ordered the Queso Fundido as an appetizer which was good. For the main course, we ordered tampiquena de Carne asada and pork Chile verde. Neither item was worth the price. Definitely something you could get the same or better elsewhere.I will state that the service was good and the drinks (beer and Blackberry margherita) were decent.

First time here for lunch and it was great. I can see the appeal of this place. The food and drinks were made perfectly. The service was friendly and prompt when needed. Fun place for small groups. Not a lot of parking in front of the place but there is a multi level garage close by.

First time coming here, definitely not the last! I was pleasantly surprised by the authentic Mexican taste! 5 star restaurant. The food here is delicious, rich in taste! Family friendly environment is a plus! They have a kids menu which is a thumbs up (big portion meals) I strongly recommend!
CALÓ KITCHEN IS THE BEST UPSCALE MEXICAN FOOD RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN TOO, THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND THE SERVICE WAS GREAT. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS VERY CHILL AND RELAXED. BUT OVERALL THE FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL AND THE DRINKS WERE ON POINT. I HAVE RECOMMENDED TO ALL MY FRIEND FOR DATE NIGHT OR IF YOU JUST GREAT FOOD AND DRINKS.
