Ordered chicken tenders. They were skinny heck...to give a perspective...it was like eating strips of bacon with batter on it.Coleslaw usually has this milky flavor, but now it tasted like it was mixed with condensed milk, thick and gross. Not worth coming. Nowadays its seems as if the chicken tenders are sliced thinly from one breast meat of chicken. Its like selling at least 3 orders of 3-piece tenders meals for $14 per meal...possibly making $25 off of one breast meat of chicken sliced up as tenders and sold 3 pieces of it for each meal..Rip-off price for quality, appearance, and quantity...I think I'm done with Popeye's scheme for low quality and high price.
This location is either a hit or a miss with the speed of the drive thru. I've waited over 10 mins 1 time a couple months ago for 2 spicy chicken sandwiches. Either 2 the cars in front of me order alot or they are just so and food are made to order? I was in no rush, had no where to go.Couple days ago, wait time was average, the cashier dude was nice and professional.Food is always hot and fresh tho. Will be coming back. It's better than a few others I've gone to for sure.
5 piece meal for 2 seems like a good deal, but one piece is really small; like half a wing. Even if you order by app, they don't prepare it; No, not when you check in at the drive thru, but until you are at the drive thru window. That's why it's so slow every time here.
They were in the middle of a rush so I was rather patient although on my lunch break. They messed up my order and I wasn’t going to complain just came back for my missing items. As soon as I entered again one of the workers who seemed miserable looked at me than rolled her eyes.long wait time. I’m writing this review because something similar happens almost every time I visit.
Food eas awful- greasy cold chicken - not spicy - ordered spicy.. cold fries but freat seasoning... extremely dry biscut and weird tasting mash potatoes.... would not try it again
They got our order wrong and it's not the first time. We ordered the 12 piece family meal that comes with two large sides and an additional small rice and beans. We chose fries and mashed potatoes for our sides. Instead, we received large fries, one large and one small rice & beans. Also, we asked for spicy chicken and I believe they gave us regular chicken because it was bland. The chicken was pale and dry. For some reason, they tossed an open ranch in our bag and the ranch got all over our food. If we would've received the mashed potatoes, my chicken wouldn't have felt so dry. Best part of that meal was the 2 liter Coke I got at 7-11
The employee named Alexander 70046 at below store said “f*ck you” to me after I said I will report for his bad attitude.Popeyes Store #112439744 lower Azusa Rd El Monte CA 91731I placed my order of 10 pieces family meal drumstick and thigh through drive thru, this guys name Alexander 70046 was very inpatient to hang up the call before I finish my order. When I approach the window, I said “hi, happy holiday!” I guess he didn’t understand what I said, so he asked to repeated which I did, but he didn’t even say hi or any greeting. When I get my food, I didn’t see the receipt indicate drumstick and thigh, so I asked to verified, then he tell me that it cannot be pick within family meal. I asked why? I had ordered like this in other store. He said just cannot do with family mean. I said I will port you. He then said “f*ck you”.This is an extremely bad experience that I will not come back to this location anymore! I hope you can train your people well!
Last time I'm ordering from this Popeyes. The only reason I liked coming here was because of how close of a drive it was but lately every order I I make it's always missing something or poorly made. For my drink they didn't have coca cola. So they took it upon themselves to give me I think Sprite. It tastes like straight up alcohol. This drink was for my siblings! The staff always look like they didn't don't wanna be there and have a terrible attitude.
Place was small. They ran out of Mac & Cheese! Overall the experience was pretty good.
Went there about 30 minutes before closing for drive thru. When I got to the drive thru intercom they told me to drive up to the window instead of taking my order. I ended up waiting 25 more minutes in between since there were cars in front, just to tell me that they ran out of chicken. I would’ve been fine if they told me at the drive thru when I was ordering that they ran out, but instead I wasted 25 minutes in their drive thru line.
