Just went and ordered "pollo bowls" for my family. Their response: "we're out of pollo bowls. We only have dinner meals." Ummm... What? You're out of rice, beans, and chicken? The same thing that your dinner menu is made of. Terrible service. Sounds like they have lazy workers at that location. Next time I'll go to churches chicken, Popeyes, or KFC.Edit: I just went to KFC. They had what I ordered.
Birria at El Pollo Loco? Who knew? But it's very true and surprisingly good. Ordered their Birria Box Combo which included a birria burrito, consome and tortilla chips. Consome does need some improvements but overall it satisfying. I'd definitely go back and order this again.
There is no dine in, dining room was blocked with cones and chairs. it shows yes but no. There is drive through.
This place sucks, reviews confirm it. I ordered a stuffed quesadilla but it had no cheese and barely any birria. Definitely never coming back. I finished it either way, didnt taste bad but I'm starving and I'm still craving a stuffed quesadilla, I was given birria in a tortilla with a little bit of cilantro, and I didnt get my sour cream either.
I placed an order through app paid for it, and received an email saying that the order would be ready by 8:17pm. Got there around 8:25pm and was told by an employee that the store was closed at 8:00pm and they never received any order.I also saw couple people came to pickup their orders and was told the same

I suggest you don't use the app to order food，At first when I got here they made me wait and after I waited for 45 minutes it was still not good then I waited in my car for 30 minutes and finally they told me there was no order for me and this place is a joke
This review is to the management of this El Pollo Loco. The city face mask mandate has been lifted, so I as well as many other citizens in Los Angeles do not wear mask anymore but your establishment still requires them. I was not able to order and told to leave. I don’t blame your staff because they are doing what management asked them to do. But I was there during lunchtime, I noticed, 2 other customers without face mask who had to leave as well.I could see your company requiring your employees to wear mask but you guys need to re-consider your policy for customers since no other restaurant/ fast food place is requiring them.Btw: I was really craving the crazy chicken!!!
