My husband and I ate dinner there Sat. (5/1/22). We had fajitas with steak, chicken, and shrimp. Little did we know that the shrimp was bad. We both got food poisoning really bad from it.I am just letting you beware of seafood you eat there.
I'm a regular.. I got sick from under cooked pork. I told our waitress my food wasn't good and she said unfortunately when the cooks are busy they rush cooking our food and the quality goes down..? Maybe they should hire more cooks for the Quantity of customer's so we get good quality of food!
Service was good. But the seafood soup was not good. Taste like it had been old, the fish was a lil tough. The shrimp from the shrimp cocktail was not cleaned and they used them anyways.
I usually go to the one in West Covina but we wanted to try the one in El Monte and wow was I impressed. Great overall environment with amazing service and drinks. Definitely will be coming back!!!
I had never had seafood enchiladas. That all changed here at the El Pescador. Delicious my hats off to the Chef who is preparing all the dishes. Consistency and quality that's our experience. We will be back.MPWLA PUENTE
Appreciated the picture menus....Enjoyed fajitas, Good decent tacos, kids menu, and happy hour deals are reasonable, will come back.
The atmosphere were good, staff excellent and food delicious. This was my first time there and will definitely go back.
It's been a long time since the last time I went to el pescador ,this place it's so much fun I really recommend this place to anyone who want to have fun ,real fun night
I love the El Pescador Chain one of my favorites as a child. Ive eaten at several different locations. BUT THIS PLACE! The service was bad, the food was bland. They were not organized at all. All the waiters and waitress looked confused. No one really check up on us for refills or whatnot. HAD to get up and ask for the check. We couldn't wait to get the hell out of there!
Not a fan. Overpriced food. Gals are too busy flirting rather than making sure your good, but I get it they work for the tips. Not a fan of the restaurants line of liqour that they use for drinks and charge like as if they're using name brand stuff. They bring the check out to you faster than the service they gave you.
